I think the reason the cross beam is bending under the weight of the leaning logs is because it is too thin/narrow. Could be worth the extra effort to replace/add to it with another stick/log to increase the crossbeam's strength. Could also do with a headlamp for the dark afternoons, although the days in the northern hemisphere will begin to get longer soon. Keep at it!

This brings me back, almost enough to make a grown man cry. its funny i got into engineering as ive gotten older and i can remember learning basic engineering principles as i did this stuff with my friends. keep at it, enjoy the freetime you have now, and have as much fun as you possibly can while you can, im not saying growing and being an adult is all bad, but i do wish i could go back to having so much free time.

My FAVOURITE thing when I was younger was building a Fort in the woods behind my house with my neighbours, I’m 31 now but I love seeing that boys are still playing outside
