Hello, need help lang po. I was planning to apply for MEXT 2025 and I'm now in my 12th grade this upcoming school year. I recently found out that the deadline is May 27 and it's already June 9. Is it fine to still apply next year and pursue my undergraduate degree there right away or am I suppose to take a gap year?

Hi, I had same situation last year, after deadline I'd found up about MEXT, and no you cannot apply after deadline. Honestly, Id recommend you to take gap year (if you really wanna study in Japan) and prepare yourself for written exam. Also, you can start learning Japanese along with preparation for written exam (for me it's really hard>_<) Go and have a look on sample tests on their official website. Subjects are different depending on your choice 1)Humanity and Socials 2)Natural science Good luck 🍀 if you need more info, feel free to ask

Thanks for this helpful video! Do you know the passing mark for the english exam? Also for the personal photo in the application form, what color should the background of the photo be? And do we need to attach 3 photos for 3 application copies or just 1 is enough?

Hi! Thank you for the kind words!😊 Unfortunately, I’m not certain what the passing mark for the English exam is. As for the photo, I used the usual white background to be consistent with the usual visa photo requirements. Attach photos to all copies of the application form :) Hope this helps and good luck!

Hi! For the embassy recommendation pathway, your research plan is essentially your proposal ☺️ so the research plan will suffice. (the format once you apply for the MS/MA/PhD program with the University down the line may change, however, depending on what will be required of you by the Uni, but at least for the embassy, the two are the same ☺️) Hope this helps!

I’m really sorry to hear that, and I agree - especially at that price point, it is unacceptable! I haven’t had issues with mine, but will now be in the lookout. Perhaps you could try reaching out to their CS? I’ve never done this before, but my experience with their sales associates at Galeries Lafayette last year was over and above what I was expecting, so many their online counterparts would be just as helpful (crossing fingers!)

Exam is now totally waived for research category as MEXT decided that Philippines is English speaking country. We did took the exam for japanese though but they said it has no bearing. In my experience my interview went smooth, they did not ask much on my research just some clarifications on definition of terms. Most of the time it was story telling. What struck me was the last question they ask, "Unfortunately we cannot accept all of you as we have limited slots, WHAT makes you more qualified than the other applicants to receive the scholarship?" Fortunately I have big edge vs other applicants being topnotcher and being a member of NRCP (national research council of the Philippines) with the panels happen to be members of also. To aspiring mext scholars goodluck! see you all in Japan

Thank you for this review! It is very hard to finde reviews on bregancon. I was wondering, can you wear mini bregancon as a shoulder bag just by the handles? I know there is a crossbody strap, but i like to carry my bags close to me under the shoulder😅

Thank you for watching!☺️ I hope it was helpful somehow 😅 I find the straps a bit short, so in my case unfortunately I can only really carry it either top handle or crossbody. The Vincennes though have longer straps and are better-suited as a shoulder bag, so you might want to check that out! (I’ve been wanting one as well precisely for that purpose 😅) (My apologies for the late reply!)

My favorite type of bag to carry if made well regardless who made it but at a certain price point. I really want the 41 Paris Blue. I have the LV neverful and absolutely love it. I think if I don’t get my FLP the price will increase.

I agree! Totes are so useful. And to me it's really about utility and quality, too, and considering how much use I get out of my daily battle, in terms of value for money this ticked the box as well! I suspect there will be another price increase again soon, but I hope you're able to get the 41 Paris Blue before then. Please let me know how it goes! :)

Hi! I'm very sorry for catching this so late! The prices used to be available online but it seems they have taken the catalogue down. If my memory serves me right, a 37 last year was at 220K yen tax included, but if it's alright, let me get back to you on this once I get the chance to visit their store so I can give you an accurate figure 😊

The 35 is at 275000 Yen with tax, 250000 yen tax-free ☺️ the SA did say they carry a limited number, and the store itself itself is pretty small (more SLGs than bigger bags, actually!) Hope this helps and happy shopping when you visit next month! ☺️

Hi! I just want to ask about the MEXT scholarship since I want to apply for the next application period. When filling up the application form did you took some JLPT (under Japanese Language Qualifications) and TOEFL (under English Language qualification)? Since I think you need to fill this up with your scores I think? Thank you for answering.

Hi! Since I've never taken a JPLT, I left that blank. I had an old IELTS (from 2015) that I opted to put in the Others box instead of the English qualification (which I left blank) due to the two-year validity of the results. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much, Miki! My bag is holding up really, really well. It continues to surprise me how well it manages to tolerate my use for it. I do not baby it at all! Straps are comfortable and no wear in sight (at least for now). There is a bit of rubbing on the corners, but considering that it has been through the wringer, they are not as bad as I typically would expect. Hardly noticeable! Getting another one is definitely in the pipeline for me, but just like you, I would have still preferred the 37 over the new 35. I'm a new subbie of yours, too! Love your beauty content! (Admittedly, one of my weaknesses, too haha!) :)

Also how do you find the the handle drop of the MM and PM totes? will it fit over the shoulder if you wear something thicker like a winter coat? Thanks again!

Hello! I'm so sorry I got back to you so late! :( My mini zips are able to stand on their own with the base flattened if they contain heavier/studier things (in my case, a hardbound planner and a continental wallet would allow this!) When stored empty though, I have to use bookends on one side to support them. The handle drop of the Brégançon PM are a bit short and the MM ones are a bit snug for shoulder wear during the colder seasons (still possible, but somewhat uncomfortable). This is actually the reason why I have been eyeing the Vincennes! :) I'm so sorry again for the late reply! Hope this helps somehow! :)
