Thanks for the clear instructions. Worked great for my 2021 Bolt. I was surprised that the piston only connects to one peg (via the bottom hole). I kept feeling around to make sure I wasn't missing a second peg. Not sure if that's the case for all years.

Thanks for a great video. I was unable to get the piston off but realized I could reach it without taking it off. I have small hands; maybe not possible for larger hands.

Sad. I hope they will be reopening soon. We've lost too many places to do human interaction and create a healthy community. God be with them!

Amazing

By all accounts, Jack Bruce hated his bass part on this song. The song was originally recorded as a jam of (I think - bit fuzzy here tbh) Lawdy Miss Clawdy. And their producer, Felix Pappalardi, took the jam and transformed it into Strange Brew, with Clapton singing the new lyrics/melody. Bruce wanted to rerecord his bass part because of minor differences between the two versions, but Pappalardi prevailed and the song was included on Disraeli Gears with the slightly-off bass part intact. None of which detracts from your excellent rendition. Props.

You’re a genius! My dealer wanted to charge me $69.95 to change my cabin air filter. So, I figured i didn’t have much to lose by trying it myself. Got my filter on Amazon for less than $15.00 and voila, it worked.

Thanks for creating this video. I literally watch it every time I replace the cabin air filter on my Bolt.

I cut the wire after soldering the second connection to take advantage of it sinking heat… otherwise my iron might reflow the other connection. You need a good cartridge-type iron to avoid that but mines still a Hakko T18 clone.

I could not follow the manual's instructions to change the cabin air filter, but your video had enough details. I wish I could buy you a coffee.

Excellent video. As you say, most people are ruining their glove box by following bad advice on other videos! This is the correct way to do it.

Thanks for the video. It worked on my 22 EUV. The top rear of the glovebox needed to be pulled down, but it looks like GM anticipated this and put little finger holes on either side to allow for that. My bet is the stealerships use this technique.

LIFE and$$$ Saver I watched this in my car. Expecting a whole long drawn out process. Was excited to see this was only a four minute video. I had to be very gentle to take off the piston. Focusing on pushing the circle bit with my nails. Do not pull the piston as this could break that circle connector! Thank you, thank you.

Thanks for the. incredibly simple video on how to replace filter. It did only take a couple of minutes and was so easy. Dealership wanted $149CDN! No doubt they will try to disqualify my warranty!!!

I used a Dremel and ground a little off the pin that holds cylinder arm to the glove box. I took just enough off so it was easy to pull off each time to change the filter. I didn't like doing it the way the video showed.
