Monroe MA785 shocks are supposed to fit and a direct bolt on. I can't confirm, haven't done it. They look correct in pictures. 6203-5/8-2RS C3 EMQ Premium Rubber Seal Ball Bearing ABEC-3 6203-10-2RS 5/8” ID bearing should be direct replacements for wheel bearings. BushTec is still in business for parts. They don't make trailers anymore, probably a matter of time before they are history.

Go ride the dunes. It will help with your skill. Learning to let the bike move independent of you is a trick. once you get it, it will never leave you. But it does take some practice. Luckily here in the NW there is a lot of dunes, and sand for you to practice on. Trying to learn on a fully loaded bike, is a fools errand. You did well considering.

Hello Keith, as always I look forward to your commentary especially the epidemic such as depression, not at all A subject to bring down and I’ve always been saddened by those who deal with it, especially from our military, as a family member from a whole line of vets, these are the ones that so deserve all that we can do for, which is never enough, overcoming such a matter as this is such a huge challenge, one that can only be dealt with in time and perseverance, there IS a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for putting it out there. Take care my brotha and hang in there. Rob down in Ala.

I noticed you had road tires. You definitely need off-road tires... Motoz are the tires i run .That's probably the biggest issue i saw on your video. With that sand you just lean back and hit the gas. The slower you go the harder it pulls your front tire. Counterintuitive, but speed is needed to get tour front tire up on top of the sand.
@OldFriendsandNewRoads2 ай бұрын
Yeah, tires were def a hindrance, hoping to get some more training for sand before encountering it in the wild again!

Hey man, great vid. I came across it doing research for my front end project. I’m doing my fork seals and decided what the hell…I’ll upgrade my front suspension at the same time. What have you done to the front end and how do legend and Öhlins fork kits compare?
@OldFriendsandNewRoads2 ай бұрын
Thanks my friend, unfortunately my front end is still on the to do list. I am undecided on whether to go with ohlins or legends. Lots of folks say stick with the same brand but I can’t see how that matters. I’m leaning towards legends however

I've done that run many times over the decades. It's a cold ride over the mountain but once you get past Hood it might warm up some. I hate Sisters.... yuppie scum headquarters. I tend to avoid the cities. A burger and a beer in a dive bar saloon is always a good choice.

Hey there Keith, how hell are u, we just made it back from Alaska, Montana, highway 2 that runs parallel with Canadian border is our favorite road, stayed pretty cool up there, hope u guys have an awesome time, we did, three weeks on road felt good to climb back in my own bed, camped everywhere B.C. Was super great weather wise, weird thing about Canada, no matter where u go, gas stations, restaurants, hamburger joints, what’s with you people, no friggin ice, damn I was so happy to enter Washington state, first thing, ICE, lot of pretty country out there, sorry you had some issues on the road buddy, way it used to be to be with my ole roadie, every damn trip, feels good not to visit Harley shops with this new bike, take care be safe out there. @OldFriendsandNewRoads3 ай бұрын
I’ve never really tried the Harley stereo with this helmet, always run a headset. Having said that, the airflow in the helmet is really good which would lead me to believe that music could get inside of it pretty well. Sorry not much help my friend
