This is a modern fable of the big city. It's about a swinging bachelor with a problem--His boss! I'm sorry, Peter. I believe in married executives. No marriage, no promotion. He shared this problem with his friend, a hatcheck girl. And did she give him an idea. So she went on salary as his "Occasional Wife". And they set up housekeeping: Peter in his apartment on the 7th floor and Greta in her apartment on the 9th floor to the last confusion of the fellow in between.

THE NBC SUNDAY MYSTERY MOVIE: PETER FALK AS COLUMBO. SUNDAY NIGHT AT 9 PM ON NBC 10 BOSTON. Kenneth Huang. 7/18/24.
@Diskoboy19744 ай бұрын
NBC may have had some abysmal ratings in the 70's. But they definitely OWNED Sunday nights. Especially if you were a kid. You had the killer lineup of MoO's Wild Kingdom, then the Disney movie, then this. This theme signaled one of two things; You had school tomorrow, and it was time for bed, or you had one more hour until bedtime. It all depended.

I was 21 years old in 1970 and every single TV series like this had people who were old enough to be my father or mother - did we baby boomers make fun of them? NO WE DID NOT!!!!

I wonder why the old videos age so poorly. They were crystal clear when we saw them on television.

0:55 - The creative credits (Director, Writers & Producer) match those for a lot of HAZEL episodes, also produced by Screen Gems.

My dad would let me stay up long enough to watch the theme song and maybe a few minutes of the episode but when the first commercial break came on he said get to bed! Good memories.

I know that the premise seems ridiculous, but my kid's pediatrician said that he definitely felt that he suffered from a lack of street cred with his patients' parents until he had children of his own.

I’ve watched this cartoon back on Cartoon Network over 20 years ago because I haven’t watched the original Johnny Quest cartoon in years because I wasn’t around during the 60’s when it was then on television around that time but I’ve watched the one from the 80’s when Philadelphia’s WTAF29’ used to air it every Sunday morning plus it was then reincarnated back on Cartoon Network back in 95’ & it stayed on for for a couple of seasons or more .

Incidentally, this is why I think there were so many dialogue references to St. Louis in LITB. Because Ralston-Purina was its sole sponsor (back in the days when most TV shows only had a single advertising sponsor).

I watched all of these when new, including Hec Ramsey. McCloud was my fave. I was a child in early 1970s, when I watched this, and also watched it new as a teen. Columbo was the character who lasted the most years. Makes me think of great, innocent times. Columbo is on MeTv, Sunday evenings.

man he emptied the whole clip in your guts. Lol. We used to get toy. Riffles an six shooters with toy caps for Christmas gifts an play cow boys. An Indians. Or just plain ol. Cops an robbers. Sadly enough they took all that away for orange plastic toy guns. No holsters. 45 years later. We have taking the fun out of being a kid not we I mean them. Society has deteriorated. To no values low vibration miscreants. Those of us who remember the old days still hanging in there to let people know my generation had morals an yours today does not

In the actual scene from"The Deadly Doll".."Hadji"is wearing his white loincloth..not a pair of black swim trunks(He did wear black swim trunks and his turban in The"Skull & Double Crossbones"episode)..Also in that scene..it's one of two episodes that he doesn't wear his turban..which is a good idea..his turban could come loose and fall off in the sea.
