I noticed that the date is "s24" (2024) so that ends the speculation on whether or not this box is getting released by the end of the year. 2024 sprue date = box is definitely getting released this year!

@@PaintsOnA4Up I don't think GW has ever confirmed this. Since GW has never said anything, some of the people in my playgroup have lately been speculating GW was planning on a January release (like Old World this year). Doesn't look like it though!

These look so good!! I know it’s just a dream and probably won’t happen but imagine if they did this for all the sprues that are 15-20 years old! Starting with Moria goblins and High elves next!

I don't normally do leak videos but man I feel like doing one and linking your page in the process. This is such a step up for the game, GW are finally putting time and effort into the kits for this system and I can see myself playing more of this game in the future.

OH wow! This is a step up for the game. Super excited as I already have a ton of the old models, think I got two shoe boxes full of warriors. One unbuilt the other built and various stages of painting. I already have a pretty huge army so haven't had the need to paint any more. But I'm eagerly awaiting these guys they look so much better but also not too distant that they wont blend in to the older models. You have earnt my sword (subscribe) this day!

Not sure how I feel about this. It makes the starter sets go from a beginner level to a more intermediate/advanced skillset needed. Nice for those of us used to dealing with Victrix etc, not so easy for beginners looking to get into the game.

Complex is not necessarily bad for new people. Sure, it may take more effort and care but that's not just a negative, that's a positive for a lot of people. Part of the draw of wargaming is that it is highly skilled.

@ this is true. It’s just the fact we’re used to “push fit” style models on the most part in starter kits and very small gluing. I will say, for me at least, this is a *very* nice change

I mean sure, it is about priorities. I enjoy making these videos though, they're a nice way for me to record what I've got and how much I've progressed throughout the years. I have painted 310 models in 2024 so far, that's January 1st to August 31st. I'm more than happy with that personally. In 2022, when this video was posted, I had painted 300 models exactly according to my Instagram post. So y'know what, I am still happy with that. 300 models completed and a video, I'll take that

There's alternatives luckily. Unfortunately this is a luxury hobby, however, it is something which we can strive towards and get something eventually. There are cheaper alternatives out there than just Game Workshop. Have a look around, even casting your own models or making them is an option
