What the hell have they spent it all on ? What do thousands of engineers do all day? Having designed and built several aircraft from scratch or as part of only two or three ( eg Schreder HP18 sailplane) in twelve months it is more than hard to conceive of thousands of man years going into something that is basically a scaled up model drone.......

Not to make it weird, but I'd be down to keep a raccoon as a pet if they could be domesticated like cats n dogs..... n i kinda think they could be since there's plenty of ppl that semi domesticate em. That being said, if they're yummy, then I'd just keep em as livestock......

Guess in Coon country, there shure are some locals that, besides Deer and else, would harvest and sell Coon products. Ivn't tried Coon meat, Rare to see one while hunting, and Def would get in a lot of trouble if I bag one by the trash cans. Well, if I only lay out a food trail to my back yard and pop it with my Air gun, will have a taste of it . Used to make a very mean squirrel stew back in the day. Please P-Nut lovers, don't get mad at me, Today I look Over my Shoulder when I give some peanuts to my back yard P-Nuts, Feed about 25 dif Birds and 3 Hummingbirds. One day soon Americans will realize their work means nothing. There is no space in western society for workers. Only consumers. But even when you die you consume. Funerals baby. So just worry about consuming in any way you can. Go to work. Steal it. Go to another country and steal it. That's the American favorite way. But stop putting work at the top of your apex. Because your work is at the top of no one's apex. When you don't own the output.

Don't give your voice ID because once it's recorded the fraudsters can just replicate it and you are vulnerable. You might get a call from your bank saying you called to empty your account and since it was your real voice you have a long battle on your hands. Ah I get it, they take your money and the bank gives you back 60% of your money as a good will gesture compared when you did have given your voice ID and you slept peacefully but with your voice stored on cloud you will now have sleepless nights.

Dear lord, Ram has issues with the "hemi tick" which their engineers can't figure out, Ford has a class action lawsuit with their F150 10 speed transmissions, new Tundra has major issues and so on. Does anyone make a reliable truck anymore. I am beyond anal with maintenance and what I can realistically expect from a vehicle, and I want at leat 250k miles out of them. Is that too much to ask for without having to worry when/if there will be issues?

They found it in cracks in the floor. Seems like a boat load of bleach and floor sealer would have fixed it. I don't believe it goes airborne. They sure got around to ripping the building down quickly. They also made pancake mix so why shut that department down? The testing lab. That position had been posted online as open for a long time before this happened. Seemed as though they didn't want to reliably fill that position. Nobody got sick but since this position was empty it makes you wonder how it was found. I heard the top guy at the facility had been transferred in shortly before this all went down. Same as he had been transferred into another one of their plants shortly before shutting down. The employee that told me that said some of the employees called him the closer and to watch out well before the salmonella was found.

Elon may like his vehicles to be autonomous, but his customers prefer to be autonomous themselves - to have full control over and full access to their vehicles 24/7 so they can go anywhere they want, at any time, without restrictions or delays. Elon can't deliver that, because he can't guarantee quick turnaround of his robotaxis, nor I suspect will they ultimately be cheap. They may start out cheap as Elon kicks off his robotaxi enterprise with a price war, but as soon as he has a monopoly of the taxi industry, he will jack up the price to fund his Mars project. Elon is eccentric, but he is also all about the money. So no, robotaxis will not take over the world. There may be a place for them in the taxi industry, but just as rideshare didn't completely kill taxis, or completely replace private ownership of cars, nor will robotaxis replace all of the above. I hope Elon gives us a $25k Tesla, but even if he doesn't you can already buy a used near-new Tesla Model 3 or Y for that price, so I'm sure nobody is going to be disappointed if the small Tesla doesn't eventuate immediately. Here in Australia we already have small Chinese EV's at that price point in the equivalent $AUD price which is $30k. I'm sure that eventually the likes of BYD and SAIC will figure out a way to crack the US market too, either by building factories there or making some kind of JV deal with an American manufacturer. Or Elon could get his act together and give people what THEY want instead of what HE wants.

Fastest car built by a US automaker? Let's see: Hennessey Venom F5 311 MPH (EST); SSC Tuatara 295 MPH; Hennessey Venom GT 270 MPH; SSC Ultimate Aero TT 257 MPH; Czinger C21 V Max 253 MPH; Vector W8 242 MPH (EST); Saleen S7 240 MPH (EST). In 2023, a modified Ford GT was timed at 300mph over standing mile. The Vette is an impressive feat but it is only the fastest car built by an American manufacturer if you only count the major manufacturers.
