I had this on a vinyl LP, probably the original release, that was a collection of NYC loft recordings. I loved this from the moment I first heard it.

Beautiful deep, rich sound with lots of power. It has a pleasing sizzle. A great match with the Conn. Beautiful playing, as usual. I'm sure you could make a garden hose sound spectacular. All the best from the land of Oz.

Hello! I have a Tone edge 7 and there is a 2 on the inside. I was told on a forum that it could be from the 80s. In the meantime I tried a new OL Tone edge 7 and an OL New Vintage 7. I think my older OL sounds wider and rounder than the modern ones. There was something different there than today. Unfortunately, I don't know 100% what the "1" or "2" means. It probably has something to do with the models that were used at the time. Best greetings!

kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6jPfJKOh9Jjfposi=cjR1VTXhXWJ8E6hZ Steve Grossman is the first track and last track at about 28:00 doing impresions and you can see , we burned it . He was phenominal , sure could move a lot of air , you knew you were playing with the real deal .

@@greorjazz parfaite combinaison. Je préfère ce rendu à celui avec le Marantz qui est trop puissant/agressif. A mon humble avis.
@greorjazz
@greorjazz Жыл бұрын
@@marccontet7480 Le Marantz n'est pas agressif, c'est peut-être moi quand le l'ai essayé qui ai donné cette impression. Mais je suis d'accord sur le fait que la combinaison avec le Conn est meilleure avec le Precision.

Richie B u are an excellent musician that I met at Keystone Korner when I believe u played with Guitar Maven Larry C..about 1975?Todd’s Place..I didn’t know u were President of the Jazz Police..Sometimes u have to follow the Leader,even if he rushes..Would u have the audacity to tell McCoy or Elvin to stop Rushing when they had the blessing to be on the Same Bandstand as Trane?I will see Billy Hart next week at SF Jazz and ask him if he recalls playing on this gig,And if this is the case,I will post his remembrances with his permission on the comments section to clarify his feelings about Rushing…It happens,But SG was going for it,and to my ears he said plenty!!

This sounds quite a bit warmer and more rich than the Aizen you tested. Would you concur? Or am I hearing things lol. It’s okay if u disagree. I’d rather hear your unbiased opinion rather than having you just agree with me. Great playing and thank u as I have been thinking about possibly trying a marantz legacy someday

Thank you Sean. Yes it's warmer than the Aizen TSLS MK II i have tested on the 8 tip opening kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmLRgYWBoaeibpY , but less warmer than the AIZEN LS 6 i have tested on a 6 opening kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y32mimmqn82EjqM. I don't know if the design of the MKII is different or if it's the tip opening
