Jerry was a good friend of mine until his passing several years ago. He was the tent revival organist for A. A. Allen, 1954 - 1959 when he left the field and David Davis took over.

@@zzzut Well it truly comes down to Predestination... either you are a SEED of God or you are NOT. I love the Hammond Organ, but if we had NO music at all, wouldn't stop me from going to church because it's about my Love for Jesus Christ & what the Saviour has done for me... that I might have Eternal Life once I leave this ungodly world.. He has given His Children the power & authority over any devil that comes against them in this life... cleaned me up, forgiven all my past sinful life.. filled me with His Holy Ghost so I can withstand every evil temptation that comes my way. ONLY GOD can do that! ACTS 2 : 38 (KJV).

I absolutely hate that he has passed away, but he is now one step ahead of us in being in Glory Land. What a friend we do have in Jesus! LOVE this song. May I ask what key he is playing this in? I tried to mimic his version Sunday at church, while playing this. I admire him so much! God bless!

trey lewis. When did He pass away? He was up in years and he had played for "The Man Of FAITH and POWER, A.A.Allen", during the tent REVIVALS. Jerry, A.A.Allen, David Davis (who started playing the Hammond organ for the Allen Revival after Jerry left), Gene Martin and many of the HOLY GHOST PREACHERS, SINGERS, MUSICIANS and SAINTS have gone into eternal rest, we believe in the NAME of JESUS CHRIST.... EACH ONE OF THE OLD SAINTS, during the days of the tent Services, MADE A POSITIVE IMPACT in the world with THEIR EXPRESSIONS OF LOVE FOR JESUS CHRIST HOLY WORD!! THE PURITY OF THEIR LIFE WAS MANIFESTED IN THEIR DEVOTION TO THE GOSPEL of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST....

love it , love it!! This music reminds me so much of growing up in the non-denominatioal Pentecostal church. I would always sit near the organist so I could watch what he was doing, so I could learn a few tricks. I have been a church organist since aug. of 1990. I have never had b-3 to play on.. lots of different organs over the years. Now I do have a hammond @ my home church but it has no Leslie. The church also has an Allen and another hammond (spinet w/built in leslie) in the fellowship hal

@Dewkoh Yes, Jerry played for AA Allen in the fifties through 1959. He is still a dear friend. Richard Page | Organist/pianist AA Allen & Don Stewart crusades 1964 - 1974

Beautiful music and playing. The Hammond B3 is the best sounding organ. Someday, I hope I can afford to purchase a B3 original. One that's made in the 50's. Thanks for posting this video, I pray when this video is playing, it helps me through the day. Very uplifting. God Bless You!
