I love your percussion section. The bassoon on the far left looks longer than the others. Is this an illusion?

I played clarinet and bass clarinet. I always perceived bassoon as "exotic" and wished my school band had one. Didn't happen.

Would you be willing to share this arrangement? I think this would sound phenomenal played by a euphonium Quartet.

Well done ladies! I would love to hear your rendition of "Enter Sandman" by Metallica! This rock staple was covered by "The Bagpipe Diva's", and is very unique. It would be the "Battle of the Bagpipes vs. Bassoons"! Brilliant.

Who in his right mind would have thought to arrange the 1812 Overture for a quartet of... *_Bassoons?_* What wonderful insanity! Outstanding job of playing.

Learned to play the bassoon when a junior in high school (the HS band had finally gotten sufficient funds to purchase one). Took private lessons for several months before actually playing in the band (I also played tenor saxophone). What a great, fun and sometimes totally insane instrument! So much fun to play once I started to learn how to master a double reed instrument. Now I'm 74, and those days are just fond memories. But will always love the bassoon, and yes, those four young ladies were fantastic. Loved every second of it.
