I like to see drills like this with low round count. It's nice for people who might not have a large ammo budget. Also wanted to say that the video was good it was short to the point and informative. I don't know if you've got to use one yet but the mantis Blackbeard is a really nice tool to have for the AR platform I got one for myself and my son and they're great especially when paired with the app for indoor training on rainy days more days when you just want to practice inside. Of course there's no recoil but there's still a lot you can do with them. Final thing is that I would love to see a video on some of your firearms and general information about them.

@@magman687 we use the Mantis systems in my garage at home for dry fire and absolutely love them! I have both the rifle and pistol version and they are an amazing tool to use during the week before going out to the range for some live fire work. We can 100% do a video on how we use them, and also some tips and tricks to help maximize your ammo budget, time spent at the range, and improve your skills. We have been talking with a few people about doing a “kit shakedown” video here soon. We absolutely can go over the kits we use, weapons in our rotation and how we have them set up. Would love to provide some general information surrounding why we are using/testing the equipment we have. Lastly we greatly appreciate your support, comments, and feedback! When people make comments like yours it allows us to create videos based solely on the content that our viewers want, and allows us to share the knowledge and insight we have which is exactly why I started this channel and started instructing!

@bairtactics6180 that's awesome I have four main loadouts that I use right now all hanging on the wall in order and I just grabbed whichever one I need based on situation. I've been doing this type of work for about 17 years now. That being said I always enjoy seeing what others do because I always end up learning something whether I meant to or not LOL. I don't know if you have the facility to do so or not but me and the team recently have been working a lot more on working together to clear buildings but we don't have the time or necessarily the drive to create videos on that type of training. If that's something you're ever interested in doing it would be cool to see how you all do it because I've been doing it for many years and I actually just learned a new technique about 2 months ago. I love training aid videos like that because there's a lot of times and I'm just lazy or we just for some reason can't take one of our guys to the shoot house to train him up correctly so it's at least nice to have a video if done properly that they can reference until we actually get them to the shoot house.

That's how you do it right there I love it whenever I see somebody that has a malfunction and instead of stopping the drill they clear the malfunction and continue on like they're supposed to. I see so many people that with the slightest inconvenience they stop the drill. By the way I'm Mr Taylor's Old Flame from high school. he's been telling me about this friend he had that was really good with firearms and he sent me here. I'm liking the content I see so far. Would love to see some videos on the gear you run and why. Keep up the good work I look forward to more

Try the Triple Nickel: FBI QIT Target. 5 Yards, 5 targets, under 5 seconds. Draw and fire two rounds to each target with one mandatory reload.

Both shooters failed the qualification. Each string is shot twice and the combined time has to meet or be less than the time listed. You were shooting it once and showing your times. For example, the first string where you draw and fire one round at 7yds, the two combined runs have to be at or less than 3.3sec or an average of 1.65sec per string. Any string that the shooter fails to meet the time standard is an automatic fail of the whole qualification.

Shot on these targets with Bear yesterday, putting various round types at varying distances and they held up great. Love how easy the mounting system is, gone are the days of breaking chains. Also great that you can change the cant of the target so that you can direct your spall and avoid potential ricochets. Would 100% buy a set for myself.

I apologize for the poor quality of this video; I had some issues uploading this video in my editing software. I wanted to still publish this video instead of refilming it because there is still VERY good information on this low round count pistol drill, unfortunately it will not be full screen. Apologies again!

What if you're outnumbered or being flanked?

This situation resembles more of a close/near ambush scenario. Being outnumbered or flanked would be a completely different situation.
