I find doing the 12 days of VLOGMAS as it allows me to be apart of the Christmas / VLOGMAS hype but then after the 12th I’m good to just relax and embrace the festivities and magic of Christmas 🎄

Your dad 🤣🤣🤣 In terms of the (undoubtedly gorgeous) alexandrite situation, here's my 2 cents you didn't ask for: It reminds me of how I often feel when I observe certain varying conditions happening all at once. What time of day, week, month, and/or year is it? Especially with my XX chromosomes. Christmas plus stressed loved ones plus scary world events plus weekend of obligations plus estrogen levels, vitamin D, cortisol levels plus lack of sleep and/or nutrition. TO START. Then, on top of it, in that jewelry store setup, it's a big commitment. Some people need to add these investments to their INSURANCE policies! You intuitively sensed it was not close enough to your high standards to justify such a commitment. Then, when you bought it, you may have formed an emotional attachment perhaps, then possibly always remember the heartbreaking setup you got the lovely ring from, almost tainting the pure intention of the gift. Your intuition, gut, whatever, was alarm-belling, maybe. Your body may, say it with me, fight flight or freeze, when those alarms sound. I think the SMART choice is to make big decisions with as calm or a mind as we can achieve. Your mind made a judgment call like Gordon Ramsay... SHUT IT DOWN. And everyone loves the infamous chefs' ability to "listen to his own insticts," if you will 🤣 I had to evaluate myself like a character from a movie- more objectively. Less like, Rachel sucks so Rachel's automatically "wrong" or "overreacting." What has this Rachel character so upset? It can't be NOTHING, logically, right? But then woah if you're not careful the self evaluation can last until your alarm to wake up goes off 😂 Humans and our complex minds come with weird baggage. The good news is, we ALL have it!! The bad news is... some pretend like they don't, and make fun of the excess they see in others. Don't be like bad, oh world. Be like good 💚

Hi Pandabunny! I had to comment because I am also having audio issues with my latest videos and I'm so not happy. I've been using the DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and I'm not sure why all of a sudden it's like clipping or cutting out. I wanted to warn you that if you are looking at this camera then you will probably need an external mic as well. I just bought the Mic Mini to go along with this, but it's an added cost if you are looking at the Pocket 3. <3 PS- the audio did not bother me, but I can see how it would if you are the one editing and want the video to be perfect!

You weren't kidding about Haku's energy! He's so freaking cute! I would feed Jorah with a toy like that too if he ate kibble. We did have to get him a slow feeder for his food though because he inhales it otherwise!

Hi Pandabunny! I have been trying for about a year now to enjoy vlogging with an action camera and I feel like it's just not the same as filming with a dedicated vlog camera. I do like that the footage is super stable so you can move around and you won't make your audience sick. I do have to say that the footage from the GoPro is really good and I might not have even noticed you were using an action camera if you didn't say anything. Right now I'm on a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 kick, but we will see if I end up vlogging with that long term. Thanks for sharing this vlog I loved it so much I watched it a few times! :)

Hi Pandabunny! I've watched your recent vlogs a few times, I'm really enjoying the style of filming! I've always wanted to do vlogmas but it's so busy this time of year that I can't find a way to film every day. Last year I said "I'll do shorts every day!" and that lasted like 2 days haha! It's not surprising that you would start filming vlogmas in November. You always start the holiday stuff then and it's my favorite holiday content to watch!!

So sorry your old vlog camera broke, that's sad. You didn't get phone footage to insert from Target, but depending on your phone, it might also work as a replacement. I don't like the process of moving footage from my phone as much, but otherwise mine has worked well as an alternate camera when I go places like concerts that don't allow a dedicated camera to be brought in...

The best thing about a kotatsu is that compared to things like air conditioners, it costs almost no electricity. Once you know this, you won't be able to part with the kotatsu.
