One of the best ost remixes I've heard! 🙏
@Poyostar Жыл бұрын
Yeah, this is honestly one of the best fan remixes of this theme that I have ever heard. It does a good job at bringing back memories of making one's way through one of the more visually unique visions in Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil. ...which are then almost immediately followed by sadness due to the vision in question also being home to one of the more depressing moments in the game. Poor Lolo, man...

It sounds so good and smooth & punchy. Just ordered one. Stoked. Analog really does have a sound, I definitely hear it. It’s not always “better.” It’s just, that sound. Are you running it through distortion? The noise floor is kind of high here, like it’s being heavily compressed by a distortion circuit.
@sin_clav2 жыл бұрын
I don’t use any distortion/compressor. But, maybe, it may be saturated by my camera. I feel this sounds punchy than listening with speaker.
@sin_clav2 жыл бұрын
or saturation by too large volume

How did you assign the different Volca drums parts via MIDI. I've been having a hard time figuring it out myself.
@sin_clav Жыл бұрын
By simply configuring D track's MIDI note assignment. Detailed instructions like this: 1. Push "global" button; to switch global configuration mode 2. Push "D" track button; to start to configure D (drum) track 3. Select and push one of "D sub-track" buttons (underlined "D SUB-TRACKS 1-16"); to select sub drum track to configure this track 4. Push "A-10" button in the 64-pad; to configure MIDI messages sent by this track 5. Turn "PARAM2" knob as you wish; to specify MIDI note number sent by this track I hope it helps you except you have already reached to this solution.

Theres a lot of ways to try to make something bearable like using a tom or a crash with stutter recordings applied underneath, but yeah, just a usable snare would have really sent it through the roof. One sample slot would open this instrument up.

@sin_clav Жыл бұрын
In this my jam using 4 synths controlled by SQ-64; kzbin.info/www/bejne/noabpmCcm9V0g5I . Yeah it needs MIDI splitter (1 MIDI inp from SQ-64 and 4 MIDI out to synths) and also 4 converters that converts from TRS MIDI plug to DIN MIDI jack (like this: reverb.com/item/61538610-alm-busy-circuits-type-b-midi-trs-adaptor-cable). After you have those, configure MIDI settings for each tracks, and then you can enjoy it.
@sin_clav Жыл бұрын
Sorry for my wrong comment above (or below?). Correctly, a needed number of TRS to DIN MIDI converters is **1**. Because SQ-64 output MIDI as TRS MIDI. After you convert to DIN MIDI before MIDI splitter, SQ-64 controls synths by simply using DIN MIDI cables via a MIDI splitter.

I have a question and it's an obvious question because I'm a novice producer but with the SQ 64 will I be able to increase my amount of bars that I can sequence from Avoca because right now they only give you a total of 16 steps one bar to sequence with. With a skew 64 will I now be able to make for bar patterns instead of one bar patterns?
@chango38653 жыл бұрын
yes, with the seq 64 you can make patterns with 64 steps, and then make a project chaining up to 16 patterns
