Yes :) I’m glad I was able to find these elevators when I first came to the Lee building in 2022. They better not ever mod these elevators. These elevators are in pristine condition. I’m glad you got to see these elevators while you were in town :)

Yeah School Elevators is same as service elevators you get in big trouble if you ride without permission

I actually have a question though is Fire service and independent service considered tampering or is it same accessing restricted floors?

If you’re using your own elevator key to switch into either mode, it is considered tampering as the building owner would get really concerned and want to know where you got the key from prior to questioning you. Unlocking a restricted floor is not only tampering, but also considered as breaking and entering which equals as trespassing.

All elevators should have both fire and independent service modes.

Putting into fire service mode is a felony crime much like pulling the fire alarm. I don’t know much about independent service, but you could probably be charged for trespassing. Fire service is much more serious as it can summon the fire department.

I remember Crippled Children's Memorial Hospital in OKC had elevators that had full glass doors and the whole inside was gate and there was windows you could see outside of as you were riding up and down. This was back when I was born in 1965 and the early 70's. My Mom said we'd get stuck in them but, I was too young and don't remember it. Really enjoyed your video. Wish you could find some like it. I loved standing over at the elevator and watching people go up and come down.

I don’t know if I’m mistaken or not, but aren’t the service elevators going to be modernized as well? Because I’ll be coming back in town again in April (for my birthday), and I may probably check them out, but I’m not sure yet since I’ve heard this place is not photography friendly or something. This has nothing to do with the incident from Andrew (DieselDucy), but also something else way later than that which I will not disclose.

Most Series 1 car stations are surfaced mounted panels with both the top and bottom slanted.
