How would you wire it this so you can turn the lights on/off with say a switchpro or auxbeam 8-gang switchpad?

I'm in the process of custom mounting SS3 fog lights to my 2004 Suburban Z71. The factory fog lights leave much to be desired. Once I have the SS3 fogs hooked up how I want them I'll be able to navigate much more confidently in the snow rain and fog. I'd love some SS5s for aux high beams but it was stretching my budget just to get the SS3s lol.

These do not come plug and play for the 2015 gmc sierra, had to spend a long time getting the collar the right placement to get the led position correct. Super headache replacement.

Doesnt work on gt86 2019. Wont save when you put stalk in center.

My 2023 Ford Bronco Big Bend built in the first week of November of 2023 had bolts securing the fog lights with a 3/8 head not 10 mm. I installed the lights and they are great! They are brighter, with a wider beam pattern and the light lights up the road much farther.

so they're not adjustable and can't aim it down since they sit flush on the bumper housing?

I installed this in my 15 accord with projector but they look very dim i would say worst than the stock halogen when i face a wall the beam pattern is perfect is just not good output of light

Just spent almost 30 minutes trying to get the bulbs in. The first one went in after 10 tries and the driver's side maybe 20 tries. I literally removed and installed the factory bulbs several time to see if I was missing something? Nope. The issue is the Diode bulbs have larger rubber seals than the factory. They are just trickier to install. Eventually they did work.

It’s nice someone makes SAE DOT approved fog lights. But what’s interesting, at least in the three states I have been in. The police have never questioned anyone on their fog lights, not when inspections were at one time required were they ever an issue. So wondering why it even matters.

Been following Diode Dynamics since subaru motorsports and Dirtfish got their motorsports mounts and bars. Little while back finally got myself some SS5 pods, 4 of them in fact, for my daily driver/Rallycross car. Living in Washington and traveling in the back country at night, aux lighting is a must to spot deer, and traveling at speed at Rallycross, you have to have both the throw and clarity to be able to see the next turn ahead of you or if there's danger on course, same thing with stage rally. My stage rally car will definitely be equipped with Diode Dynamics, because of the price to performance, reliability, and ease of procurement if replacements are needed.

Again. Diode Dynamics is one of the most elite brands of the off-road in its category. @DiodeDynamics I have a 2015 lifted Scion xB. And I have someone installed for me of dual fourth bumper reflectors as a led red brake lights. Along with sylvania zevo red led bulbs. And they are great and much safer. But now one of my couple red led diodes burned out which is normal as expected. But u guys have DD’s hitch lights or something that I can replace them for better higher quality little pods, as a better red four brake lights, that are as bright as my main brake lights? I oh those heatsinks. And better quality materials, they will truly last. Maybe u have a universal type lights?

When are the f150 led headlights and foglights going to be available?? They been on backorder forever. I too want to know why Diode!! Edit: I'm willing to wait for a quality product, and that's what I'm doing. As soon as they are available I will be buying.

Being Biased is subjective. I personally feel that D.D. has the better product. Not only offering a price point for all consumers but also not bashing B.D. Having the optional back light is a nice touch as well. The wider and more powerful output in the Max is a no brainer for me. Honestly, a 8 year warranty is without a doubt, a great warranty as well. This video solidified not only my purchase of the SS 3 Max but my bumper choice as well. Having the ability to use factory mounting options when so many aftermarket bumpers have this size of cutout for the foglights. Motometal lost a sale due to them forcing you buy BD as thier cutouts and mounting points are designed for this smaller fog light. However, DD has factory mounting options for the Rubicon, Saharah and more. Also, they solidified a HiLine Fender Light purchase from American Adventure Labs and upon seeing there video on the 2nd Gen Light and finding out they worked directly with DD to design this Light. Thank you DD for working with other companies to help produce quality products such as what American Adventure Lab does and are still Proufly MADE IN THE USA!

What mounts did you use for the zip ties for the wire management? I can’t seem to find anything that sticks well to that material please help

So when running DRL, are the high beams at full brightness? I had this issue with a pair of cheap LEDs i got on amazon and had to put my stock bulbs back in.
