I once played with a guy at a public course, whom my buddy and I just met and were paired up with, who did this on every swing. During a round. After two holes of this my buddy asked him, are you gonna keep on doing that on every swing, because if you are, we are not going to be able to play an entire round with you. To which the guy replied, do what? Hahahahaha!!

Certainly looks like it. They're some of the best shafts in their day, still have them in my fairway woods. I didn't know they still made them until I googled the UST Mamiya website and found they're still available.

I've always had a big pause like that in my backswing, people used to say I was holding it too long until I knocked it way past their drives or irons. Been doing it since the 80s ain't gonna change it now.

He sets the ball inside his left heel so he uses a weaker grip to compensate for the draw if he had a stronger grip he'd probably end up hitting a big duck hook
