I have read many posts on the subject of short cycling but have not found one that addresses my issue. I have a Goodman oil fired hot air furnace with a beckett burner. It began short cycling after being serviced by a local HVAC company. I have called that company back 2x and they have not resolved the issue. A separate company was also not able to solve it. I set back the t-stat at night and then raise it in the morning. If the new setting is more than 3-4 degrees, the burner will shut off before satisfying the tstat. The blower will continue to run and the burner will come back on after the high limit switch has cooled. At times the restart of the burner creates a loud boom and has blown off the stack vent, blew apart an elbow and blew out the barometric damper. I have raised the high limit setting, replaced the filters, and had the furnace serviced but this issue still continues on an infrequent, but troubling, basis. The nozzle is the proper size and the smallest recommended. Any suggestions.

My roommates are a couple and the have the most bonehead rule between themselves where the person who cooks does not clean the dishes. So she does the cooking and he is supposed to do the dishes. I kid you not it’s been the subject to many of the same arguments over the past year and I’m on my 3rd year living with them. I don’t eat with them anymore since their food is too greasy and fatty for me. When I cook I clean as I go and the counters and stove top are always spotless when they cook they always leave dishes in the sink, the stovetop is a complete mess, usually it has dishes on top of it too. He won’t do the dishes unless asked, Every. F’in. Time. If I wasn’t the one who put up all the money for the security deposit for this place I would have taken my name off the lease, told the management about the illegal cats they have, and dipped out forever. When I brought up this issue which has become more of a major problem now it always leads to them arguing with me. These are roommates #19 & 20 for me, I’m their first. I know how things run with roommates, they don’t have a clue. I left the place today at 11:30am and asked the guy to do their dishes from dinner the night before and clean the mess up. It’s now 3:40pm and after I get done charging my car I’m going home to drop off gym equipment and turn around to start work. I can bet my whole weeks earnings that the kitchen is still a mess.

Ok, pronunciation is off- It’s ‘for-my-ca’ not ‘for-mica’ and its ‘por-us’ not ‘poor-e-us’. My insurance did not cover me either stating they dont cover main line breaks, and it wasn’t a main line break!! Cause it was raw sewage, they said main line, but you can have a backup with raw sewage that is not main line, just your toilet pipes line getting clogged. My insurance guy is new and even said he wasn’t sure what to do, idiot.

I am renting a room in a house. My landloard told me to have tenant a liability insurance. Because he told me we have a dog if any thing hapend with you by my dog then it can cover. My question is if something happen by landloard's dog your tenant insurance cover the liability.

This kind of wishy-washy attitude is exactly why people in the inner city snap and kill people. It's because big old softies won't do anything about serious issues. When you get fired because you can't do your job because you can't get any sleep the last thing you want to hear is somebody telling you to "compromise". The compromise is they stay in there house not making the fucking quarters on my coffee table bounce and I don't call the cops there's your freaking compromise.

There is a "magic" threshold for noise violation. The laws where I am written clearly define ways to measure the volume of the noise from the property of the person writing the complaint and what times what thresholds are legal.
