There was another video of Emmanuel Despax that i can not find any more, is one like this but instead Chopin, is about Rachmaninoff. Is it deleted?

I'm going to spend 1-3 months practicing just the first 14 seconds of this part she's playing. I'll keep y'all updated. (I'm practicing a section in Mephisto and this specific part starting...... Now!)

j'aime bien cette façon d'aborder ce morceau.

It's easy to make it lively when it's played quickly. But playing it relatively slowly compared to the tempo marking and still giving it the energy the piece needs to sound good, that takes a lot of skill.

Can you explain how is it that the sound is different considering that it always comes from a hammer hitting a string?

Thank you! This is a very good lesson. Now someone has to make a tutorial about the pedaling...
Wonderful to See this . But how does DeLarrocha continue the trill when the third line comes in ?

I want her as my girlfriend she plays mozart piano nearly identical to the way he played this piece ..one of my favorite sonatas because mozart tended to write pieces that were meant to take up time up.when performing for royalty ... like average time 5-8 minutes .. however unique this movement is under 3 minutes one of Mozart's shortest sonata piece movements... But its content is not so repetitive as other sonatas he ✍️ .

Extraordinaire!!

Lakes, moons, metaphors and metaphors,.. Why every "master class" are like that? Music doesn't need these imagetic analogies. How about breaking down the difficult passages, give tips on properly study this, highlight the problem of the wrist tension in this one, etc, instead of teaching interpretation which is the only thing that should not be taught?

Emotional roller coaster of loveliness. Debussy morphs into Rachmaninoff and ends up with a jazz flourish. Marriages made in heaven. Fabulous as always from Chenyin.

Well..that's just brilliant in every way possible. Love the pedalling sustains and staccato play offs...and of course the ending! Thanks Iago for sharing such passion. Very inspiring and an absolute joy to watch and listen.

AGAINNNNN! ARRGGGHHH! SOOOO MANY PEOPLE! ARRGGGHH! Don't teach negative teaching points!! How many times does it need saying. DO NOT TEACH WHAT YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO. Don't even mention it FFS, just TEACH WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO.

"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known."
