I bought 2. 1st lasted 3 months. 2nd did a bit better @ 5 months. I do pest control. I use it for bait station keys. That's 4 keys. 3 are plastic with 1 thin, small stamped sheet key. So no crazy amount of heavy keys. Sure, I use it quite a bit, but isn't that it's job? I wish I could find one that would last me atleast 1 year.

Put your foot on the stump. "Lock" your arm/fist into your ankle. Pull the ferro rod back towards you. Don't move the knife. You'll get much better sparks this way
