@@franciso7208 first step is you need to find the grant using the information above and your search skills. Second, you need to speak to that specific grant agency. Here is a blog to help you with that step: albertabusinessgrants.ca/six-questions-to-ask-a-grant-agency-before-you-write/ Once you have spoken to the grant agency, you then need to write the application. Keep going. You can do it.

This is definitely helpful. How does a person get a career development grant or funding. Particularly when the training you want to take a program that is offered by a university outside of Canada. Keep in mind that the person has a mental health disorder and gets easily sidetracked and overwhelmed following steps.

A couple things. 1. Check the the student services at the school. They should have the best list. 2. Here is some funding for a person with a disability: albertabusinessgrants.ca/albertas-disability-grants-are-here/ 3. You can search grants for free here. In some cases, you might be eligible for training grants, but it would need to be something no available in Canada (usually): albertabusinessgrants.ca/finding-grants/ Good luck!

Hello David. Years ago I had worked with a Delivery Agent that specialized in placing people with disabilities. Their ability to navigate (and secure) ALL of the available resources for both employer and employee was absolutely amazing. What impressed me the most was their ability to do an end run on an employer's reservations about hiring a disabled person. They had heard it all before. Is there a way to find a list of such organizations operating in the Calgary area ? You have created some fantastic videos here, and are helping to make the world a better place !

Great Video! Question. If your still in the works of "categorizing" your business, Can you utilize various angles to obtain your grants?. IE: I produce/offer a health/mental wellness,entertainment, cultural spiritual, innovative service....etc...Is it in my best interest to pitch all of the Angles vs just one?

Great video David - I was also pretty impressed with the Summer Student Grants being offered, the only thing is they stopped intake! So anyone who wants to take advantage can't put in an application, unfortunately. But, people who submitted their application prior to the deadline now get summer students to work for them for free.
