The song is called Mandarins. The song morphed into Isn’t She Shining which featured on the Unusual Places To Die album.

@sunitajoshi That sounds awful! It was my partner who is in the footage but he had no reaction at all.

Joe Lacey-Hatton It’s a bit distorted as I was so close to the speakers. It’s a great song- just a shame about the folk who feel the need to talk all the way through!

The Waterboys and Leonard Cohen for a special evening of 'celtic mystic' at Lisadell, under bare Benbulbin's head, across the Rosses and below the hill above Glencar.

Thank you for posting this! What a performance! What a night....I swear for most of this my feet weren't even on the floor... I felt like I was flying...! And for days after too...! As a diehard member of the Waterpeople of 26/7 years standing, I get what you mean about Barrowlands, been to every gig there, but hey...this would have taken the roof right off the poor old Barrowlands!!!!

@clydeferries Yes- it was there for a couple of days & then seen heading towards the Clyde Estuary. Shame- it was thought to have been injured & then separated from its mum as it was too small to have been independent.

Was it reported to the marine authorities at the time?

Thanks soooo much for posting this. This is one of my favourites, could not believe it when I heard the intro. The concert was amazing - as ever! It's great to hear Mike talking more to us, getting to know him a little better. We were row F at the front and the atmosphere was incredible!

Yeah- poor thing has been lost in the river for last couple of days- it's thought to be a 1 year old Northern Bottlenose Whale but there is a chance it could be some kind of dolphin- the marine experts haven't been able to confirm. Seems its chances aren't the best- if it is a young whale, it's unlikely to survive without its parents :-(
