And you have 3.3M tris loaded constantly as a result. I'd use this tool to combine one whole building made with modular assets and still bake occlusion culling which will result into less drawcalls, less set pass calls and more fps

I just watched a quick tutorial around Occlusion culling and it was the idea I had that many videos do for optimization But now that I've watched this, I wonder if it'd be good to combine both things By that I mean, using Mesh Baker not to bake literally the whole level but a section of the level, and using Occlusion culling to hide the sections that are not visible just yet Is it convenient to find a way to combine both or do you think this would result in the opposite and instead consume more resources? (which I doubt due to the nature and function of both methods)

How are you polycarbon games , my project is ready for Microsoft windows which I planned to publish on it, but when I build it on a new folder , it drop only 4 files : 1.sln (visual studio sulotion ) ,2.unitycommon.props(project property file) ,3.II2CppOutputProject (file folder), 4.(file folder)maybe for assets So should I changed unity editor version ? Or because I am using the old input system? , the unity editor LTS version 2022.3.14f1

Big downside is that this tool only supports NVIDIA cards and only works on Windows systems. I'm pretty sure there is no professional company using this tool at all. You can get the same nice results with the built-in Unity lightmapper, it only takes longer to render.

I haven't noticed a big difference in light map data size. Generally if it's a problem you can change the resolution of the light map. Even if so, I find the quality of the mapping of bakery would be worth the slightly larger size.

Howdy! What about lightmap probes? I'd love to see that setup for bakery. I'm having trouble building off a single lightmap probe group. I can't seem to separate and create new groups that aren't tethered. Thanks!

This video helped me publish an app a few years ago for pc and xbox and was really helpful. One thing I found for xbox was, in unity I had to select D3D and not Xaml, as the Xaml build worked on PC but gave a blank screen on xbox

Thanks for sharing this very handy and powerful tool ! However baking the entire city would result in making the frustum culling inefficient. We can see that from the vertices number constantly at 5.9M post baking. You could instead bake the buildings individually, or even entire building blocks, it would increase back the draw calls but bring down those nasty tris and verts.
