Literature uses both terms.interchangebly. It is actually on Sehshachalam. But sheshacham hills engulf idupulapaya basin. I used the term Palkonda in my presentatin consitentently. engulfing rayachobti basin on weest. Southern tip being Ragnigunta pass, nortther ,tip being bhakrarapeta pass(Puttampalli village--few Km east of kadapa=Gadapa town)

My family hails from South Kanara district, my grandparents had settled in Madras Presidency, most of my elders got their higher education in Madras City, I studied and worked in Madural and Pondicherry, and I am now working in Mangalore. I feel much better grounded in understanding the origins of these regions.

Not sure of what you asked. I use CANVA (free versionto redraw maps. Take a map(as Template) , import into canva, use DRAW program ( of canva :Left hand side.. similar to paint palet, ) Draw Dsitricts, States etc as per imported TEMplate (It is essentially Overlayed RE-drawing of imported map) delete the original imported TEmplate. Now you have new map of PrincelyStates with new Look, or /Colors you wanted
