Why does that say 3D?? instead of 4D meaning a four cylinder diesel. I drove a Thames Trader tipper in the sixties but hated the driving position with legs straight out.

This is the more scarce 4 cylinder Trader. My dad and granddad had the 6 cylinder Thames Traders which looked similar, only stronger powerplant.

Lots of Traders on UK Roads in the Fifties and Sixties Real Radical design then but Buggers to get in and out of New D series replaced them in 1965

Thames trader trucks worked very hard on Ugandan roads. Its a pity people like like General Amin amin did not appreciate all the hard work that goes in building a country.
