Oh yeah for sure, also for any map with boomerangs you can do this even faster, especially if you can bounce the boomerang against their feet into the ground.

@@justkobe4667 I would be a little bit curious though for your strategy on reaching level 68 quickly then and gathering all the required resources simultaneously. I can't transfer a character in so no note runs are available on the center and I can't edit any of the settings.

This is one of the official speedrun.com categories for a run. It’s about as arbitrary of a goal as any other goal in ark. I’m not doing full game runs yet as I am practicing on the side categories first as full game runs will be hours long.

I uh, assume that this comment is because there is almost no editing. That is because this is the rules for speedrun.com as this is an official submission and thus I cannot edit the clips because of cheating. Hope that helps.

The legs are the reason I can fly at all you see, they basically can walk on the blocks underneath them to fly. The hovers are mostly optional now that I’ve tested it further. Basically this is a flying exploit with the legs since wings are not in the game yet.

@BiggDaddysCheese The category rules ban people from transferring anything from other servers, no dinosaurs, tributes or items. Other categories with the same statement have it so that the boxes should be checked, but this category is missing that statement, so I figured I would just do it anyway since no one has even run this game since they edited all the leaderboard rules and there are other missing parts with the rules (Like Carchars not being an apex predator). Regardless, It doesn't affect the run in any way shape or form as I never even interacted with anything that could even transfer something, so I think its fine. I have reached out to the moderator for more clarification a while ago but they are yet to respond. I hope this helps.

Oh wait, if you mean not official settings and using SP default settings, that's because that's the rules of the run on speedrun.com. You would have to take that up with the moderator there, I definitely have no leeway there in doing this on any other settings.

I was in the vanguard program so I kept access into the beta. I think they are only inviting to east NA and west EU rn, but if you are in those regions it’s basically just randomly determined by steam right now.

I think you mean tether distance. In that case, you can either increase the distance in settings if you are on PC, but if you are on Console ASA you might not be able to, so just check your settings. Additionally though, if you don't want to have it all, you could run a dedicated server and then have everyone connect to that. There are many tutorials on KZbin about how to set one of those up, and if your PC is decent enough it should be able to run both the game and the server at the same time.

Yeahhhhh so the vivos were rank 10 before fighting him in greenhorn planes, I first basically tried to progress the story as far as possible with minimal grinding. I did my ranking up a bit staggered but I realized when my vivos were rank 6 before GHP Snivels that I should just hunker down and grind for a while to get them to a decent rank to have just enough BP to be rank 12 for saurhead. I think I wanna redo this run though, I got a better strat in mind where I just grind asap so that all the vivos in the site are as low a rank as possible straight to whatever BP count would get me to 12 in time for saurhead, but yeah, you just gonna trudge through and hope for good rng after the grind.

Low% means you have to complete it with minimum progress, so only the required 3 vivosaurs and igno and only their required fossils (only heads). It basically ends up being a normal run with a big multi hour grind sandwiched in the middle where you rank your dinosaurs up a ton on repeatable fighters in digsites.
