Sorry, I just saw your comment. I created shims out of thin sheet that I formed into a circle. They went around the studs, to center them in the holes. They stay in there when the studs are pressed into the hub to center the disc.

Did the hack saw blades stay in the hole? Or were they just a guide? I dont know if this will work for me because i am replacing the short 1/2" studs that came with the 08 kit with longer 9/16" studs. Should be ok if the knurling is the same. I dont remember off the top of my head
