Mine needed a good setup. Pickups are unbearably trebly. Don’t know about the tuners yet, new Gotoh bridge inc brass saddles, tonerider blues 11 alnico 2 on the way. Hopefully dialling out a lot of the treble and more mids and bass. It’s got a lovely neck. The new tone riders are quite heavy with brass backplates so should help.

Let’s be honest, it’s not the guitar it’s the player. Great tone, great articulation and dexterity. No guitar, no matter how much it costs, can give you that.

Love the guitar, love the playing but... why does your drummer have to count himself into his own count-in? Drummers eh? I had one that would always do his count-in at a different tempo to the song.

I have the same model and color too. The techs I've had do setups were shocked once they got it in their hands. They were tele/LP guys, but they wanted to go buy this strat asap. I dropped the floating trem to a level position and keep tune better. But overall, it's the most comfortable guitar I've ever held. I'm planning to get a second pickguard one day and try out a HH configuration.

I have this guitar and I love it but after a while it started to buzz so I had to replace the nut and replace the bridge for higher quality parts, I also took this outside alot because I was in a program so it started to backbow a tad bit, just had to adjust the trust rod, also keep in mind you can't shield the electronic cavity you can shield the pickup cavitys but overall I noticed when I shielded the pickup closest to the neck it made it sound more bright and clear, but I don't shield the main pickup just because it gives it a more treble tone when playing with distortion. also the intonation on this guitar will be a pain but after some adjusting of the saddles it will play like a charm I recommend this guitar. :D

Amen bro, 100 years ago people worked hard in the cotton fields, Wheat fields with the hot summer sun for little pay , singing the blues all week long , but when it came to Sunday morning , they were in church singing the Praises of the Savior Jesus Christ.... because of Blues and gospel formed the American original music called rock and roll. Gospel blues rock can be good if we keep it that way
