Hey friend… In my opinion, there’s a difference between the two. FENTY is good and smells amazing, but it doesn’t give me that WOW feeling. Now, the Cecred Hydrating Shampoo 😍😍😍 is honestly my favorite. My hair is so soft after using it, I don’t even feel like I need conditioner. I’m almost out of my Cecred and can’t wait to get my hands on another bottle!

Honestly, I mix them because one is organic while the other smells better. The organic one is pricier, so using both lets me stretch it further and still enjoy the great scent of the cheaper Heritage Store version. It's not necessary to use together, but it's my preference for balancing cost and benefits of each. I don't always use them both, just when I want a specific scent. If I had to choose just one, I'd go with the Heritage Store's formula. I hope this answers your question.

😂 no secret! I just wash them often so my scalp is always clean and keep them hydrated. I retwist every 6-8 weeks, sometimes longer and I try to only use water based products.

😂 Yup, this stuff is super thick! lol The first time I used it, I felt like I had to use a ton to cover all my hair. It almost seemed like it wouldn't all rinse out because of the thickness. But the second time around, I diluted it a bit with water to stretch it and make it easier to apply, and it worked way better! Have you tried any products from her line yet?

@byashleerenee I've only used the 2 shampoos and the hair oil. My locs felt moisturized, but I did use a silicone based leave in. I want to try more items from their line, I'm just afraid they'll remain in my locs.

Good point. However, I'm not exactly mixing oil with water lol. I apply oil to my scalp to boost the natural oils it already produces, and then I hydrate my hair with water. Simply enhancing what's naturally there. Appreciate your input!

Well heeey fellow loc'd sister! 💖 First of all thank you so much for watching the video! When it comes to whether these products are worth it, I truly believe it boils down to the kind of experience you're seeking. Now, for the actual products, I think the hydrating shampoo is fantastic for locs, especially if your hair tends to be on the drier side - to me, it's a must-have. The clarifying shampoo was also a hit; I felt they worked well together. The oil feels pretty good, and I'm definitely going to keep using it, but I wouldn't say it's essential (for locs at least) given the price. The deep conditioner wasn't my favorite, mainly because the hydrating shampoo made my hair feel so much better, and given the size of the product, I had to use a lot for my thick locs so which didn't leave me much left. This is all just my take, but I hope it gives you a bit more insight for your decision-making. And about the fermented rice and rose treatment you mentioned - I might try it out when the they release the other conditioner. Thank you again for your support! 🙏

@@keke6924 Oh yes, I completely understand. I had barrel twists in the beginning to keep them from unraveling, and the barrel twists were so thin, I felt like I looked almost bald from the front. If you look at a short that I posted titled "3 Year Loc Journey," you'll see how thin they looked. If you know that's the amount you want, I would say to just trust the process, as hard as that may be to hear in the beginning. I definitely struggled in the beginning, but I learned a lot along the way, and trusting the process was one of the biggest lessons. Hang in there!

Yes, you're absolutely right! I do enjoy mixing things up with my moisturizing spray to keep it interesting. I've been using this particular mixture because it's super hydrating and smells amazing. Initially, I gave Alteya Organics Rose Water a try on its own, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me, which led me to experiment until I found a combo that I loved. The scent of the HERITAGE STORE Rosewater totally won me over, and adding lavender oil just elevates it with that extra layer of benefits. This concoction is just one of my go-to mixes; I love playing around with different ingredients, but aloe vera juice, distilled water, some form of rose water, and an essential oil of choice are always my base.
