you look more beautiful now than 10 years ago ! Is it true crime is getting worse in NY ? What areas are good for people on a budget to live ?
@LydiaCLinzi8 күн бұрын
Thank you for your kind words! : ) I was there for 2 weeks only and live my life normally like everyone else cannot comment on true crime... (that's probably something you can look up on from official websites or other channels focus on that) When it comes to budget though I think it's subjective, most people I know who work in Manhattan might not live in Manhattan by choice of tax, convenient or to lower the living expense but with bigger space. I noticed a lot of people have moved out of the island itself but maybe it's a life stage thing. Share this video with your friends and ask them to join the discussion on how on how to live in New York with a budget or what's their budget like when it comes to a big city like this?

It ultimately comes down to 'prestige'. Because 'what you make of the MBA' isn't a true value proposition, because for $200k+ cost (not counting for 2 years of lost career progression and lost income), you would expect a direct benefit as opposed to a perceived benefit. The only exception for me personally would be for Harvard, Stanford or Wharton.

Hi Lydia, thanks for the video, it's informative and provides many useful tips! Just wanted to ask if there's any tips on maintaining relationships with ppl who you networked with (i.e. had a coffee chat / online call). Thanks!

Hey thanks so much for the comment and detailed question. I would say there’s many occasions naturally throughout the year for you to reach out again such as holidays, their work anniversary, you starting something new or just remembering some common topic. It’s such a great question! I will do a video about it at some point!

Talking about the dog it’s real easy to get stuck learning about the dog but never learn anything about the person. Try transitioning by asking how the dog fits in at their home, that’s a common challenge in cities and will get them talking about their home, their neighborhood, their job. Easy jump off point to get to know the core of their life.

Great suggestion! Thanks Ethan! Yea it’s just an opener really it depends on the day and the person on how you want the conversation go. Every connection is different! : )

Looks really nice. I had Yauatcha on my list when it had a star but never got round to visiting it before it was demoted; went to Hakkasan Hanway Place instead, but that and the Mayfair sister have both lost their stars now too. I see Imperial Treasure has a London restaurant now, in St. James - they have stars at some of their other locations so might be worth a try.
@LydiaCLinzi3 ай бұрын
Yea give it a try!! Imperial Treasure must be nice but there's a same one in my hometown so I might go when I go home which would be same price in different currency : P I love Canton Blue just because how it feels so elegantly classy but not pretentious and also authentically good in a way! It also make me feel very welcome and at home. like I was transported to HK immediately.
