It actually baked the bread quite well, but the baking time was too long (about 2 hours instead of 1 hour) and even then, the colour of the crust was very pale. I had to be very careful or else the top of the bread fell back and didn't bake properly. So I decided to do something about it. With your instructions I understood how the temperature sensor works and today I've modified the machine. I put two small strips of silicon rubber between the metal inside part of the machine and the temperature sensor. Now there's a narrow gap between the sensor and the metal wall of the oven and the silicone strips function as spacers to keep the sensor at some distance from the sheet metal. I've tried the machine and it works, the coil keeps switching on and off during baking Now I need to check how the modification affects the colour of the bread. If the colour is still too pale, I'll increase the width of the gap. I also modified the lid of the machine, put some aluminum foil inside the two layers of the lid to cover the window and provide some heat reflection. I'll see how it'll turn out.
