always my favorite cartoonist even before I knew he was from Memphis and we have mutual friends. I have purchased 3 cartoons from the New Yorker, framed and hanging in my house. Favorite is "I'm tired of having to apologize for the condition of the house" which is so true. Thanks for this wonderful interview.

Memphis has not historically done well when it comes to renovations and building structures. It seems that the powers that be constantly allow the different firms to rape the electorate and misappropriate the funds that were designated for a project that the general public was not truly asked about, the citizens were not informed of the true details of the project, the citizens did not vote to approve and did not support.

I firmly believe that Republicans in Tennessee don't want gun reform here because in Memphis, over 90% of homicide victims and suspects are Black or Brown. If more victims were White, they would act. Instead, they see it as a way of "thinnin' the herd." And sadly, it seems to be working. Something must be done. Teaching anger management, critical thinking, conflict resolution and parenting in school would also help.

Exactly. It's also the reason they don't want bail reform, and that instead of focusing on gun violence, they made drag racing a freaking felony lol

Strange Biden and Harris have been spouting HATE speech against any American who did not vote for them for 4 years !! FACT !

No, LIE. And learn what hate speech is; Trump voters are not a protected class.

Speaking of Aloe Vera, I had mine in my greenhouse as I keep my succulents in the greenhouse with the fans on, doors and windows open, shade cloth on, but notice the Aloe had turned brown. Stuck it in the shade where is gets no sun and in ONE day it greened back up. Left it there and it is doing great! Look forward to your weekly show, OB. MS

The southern town that I grew up in has lost a lot of its southern charm over the last 12 years or so. We have had a large influx of illegal immigrants flood this area. I long for the days of old.
