how these things fail: as it gets older the dc jack will break from constantly pushing the power supply which breaks the solder joints 2. the green laser will fail before the red does 3. the fan will eventually get much weaker and the board as its old will heat up and the unit will barely work (cuz its too hot) 4. its chinese-made so mine lasted for 10 years which was impressive! but it died even when it was just sitting in a drawer for 10 years 5. you can scrap it for perhaps its fan, the connecters, a motor and both green and red laser its not worth fixing it btw it costs like 10 dollars lol

Everyone should watch this video and understand one thing. This is HOW KZbin WAS MADE. These videos represent a time when youtube was a platform for normal people to post videos. Not a wannabe 'So You Think You Are A Star' platform. Take a gander at the platform today. You would not recognise it. Cheers for the video too mate, they're still selling things like this and I wanted some info on it. And here it is, with a dude just talking.. not sitting in front of a home studio with studio lighting, a $1000 mic, headphones on telling everyone to subscribe and like.. lol man, dunno where that came from... Wow, this video is about 8 years old... that's quite some time. Almost 400k views not bad. If you couldn't already tell TVcds is no longer active (it hasn't been for 7 or so years). @@djtoxic7461 these are laser diodes not leds and lasers can't resist heat and shock like leds so any small mistake it game over, and unfortunately I learnt that the hard way with lasers.
