Wow. Thanks mate. I gave a 2004 R50 with fault code 11 coming up on my ISTA plus. For KOMBI tank sensor 2. Says short circuit to ground. Tank sensor 2 is the filter side, so i will remove and check for either one having wires that may touch from open wire casing as yours. Thank you mate, great help.

Just replaced both my senders, getting signal implausible, they worked sat outside the tank and gave a reading but once installed back to square one, any pointers ?
