Was a huge fan of Karmin, but think I got distracted by college. Always preferred her cover of Look At Me Now. Looked it up again, and saw a channel name I never saw before. Found this litterally next video I watched after listening to her cover for the first time in a decade. Think I will go through this video again, and add these songs to my playlists. They were created years after those times, but I miss those times.

This came into my life with ethereal timing. I never knew about this cover. It’s incredible. The energy is so mature and filled with gratitude. This style echoed in the cover of What Do You Mean really does it for me. The most human parts of her soul come through and wrap me in a calm knowing that I seek constantly. I know it seems crazy to every one else in my life, but this last year has felt like an incredible trial. Waking up to realize I was being consumed and observed at the most vulnerable part of my life. I look back regretting my inability to just trust the process and allow the universe to work in my favor. I feel currents pulling me into directions I haven’t looked towards. Instead of allowing myself to flow into the stream, I stand stubbornly. Feet carefully finding traction on slippery rocks. I’m attaching relationships to this song. The older I get, the more I develop a relationship with loneliness. I realize how much time has been lost to my stubbornness, and I hope to gain the ability to slow it down enough to catch up on some of the meaningful life work I need to face.
