This fantastic. Love the use of monochrome. A class in making great low budget cinema. Great cinematography.

I hope that one day humanity learns from it's mistakes. Maybe we are doomed to repeat over and over

As I'm listening to this whole album, I feel like there is a "spacey miasma" to this album that, in addition to the numerous other bands I have referenced in other comments, also reminds me of Tool, though hopefully minus the baggage of Maynard Keenan being a creep to his underaged fanbase, yikes. Separating the art from the artist, I do love me some Tool.

The only thing we have in common with Tool is a short bald guy being the spokesman for the band :)

I hope humanity never finds a home among the stars, or at least if it is inevitable that this must happen, that we will learn humility, peace, and restraint. We must not be permitted to remain in the mindset of settler-colonialism with our technological capabilities far outpacing our moral and sociological development, lest other sentient life view us quite justifiably as a threat that must be extirpated.

Very true

I almost feel like the way you incorporate the driving percussion with dissonant guitar work is, at times, reminiscent of Behemoth, which is delicious.

Behemoth is also a band that I have heard of but never listened to. But it's nice to be complimented

This feels so menacing!

Thanks. In this part the protagonist is in cryo sleep and is dreaming about the war that has forced him on his journey

Bit of an Ensiferum vibe here maybe?
@theoptimae6 күн бұрын
Ensiferum is a band that I have heard of, but never listened to. So not guilty on that one.

Commenting just so algorithm starts getting more eyeballs on this. It's so gooooood. Also, I'm currently reading through Liu Cixin's Dark Forest trilogy and wowee zowee, I gotta tell ya boys, the theme of this album fits with that sooooooo perfectly. Literally just read a part where (((SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS, DO NOT READ FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK YET))))))) the entire solar system is destroyed and the last remaining humans who escape are trying to find a way to survive and carry on human civilization. Also, I feel like there's totally some Coheed & Cambria energy in this. Something about the guitar runs. Very nice.

Hi, Thanks for helping us out. I'm a Coheed fan so it's probably come out subconsciously. I especially like the first 2 albums. I'm an avid Sci-Fi reader, but mostly older stuff pre 2000's I'll have to check out Liu Cixin. Well hot damn am I ever glad I found this. This feels like if Morphine did metal but also was seeking to address eco-disaster and condemn the practices of modern Capital. Very based. So praxis. Wow!

I've never heard of Morphine, I'll be sure to check them out. But again thanks for the compliments

Nice vibrato on that guitar. It definitely fits the vibe.
