This time was played in the movie Rio Lobo. I'm wondering if it has roots in the 1800s.

Not because the movie was made then but it is set in the 1860s.

In case anyone was wondering, the girl in the songs' age, referred to as "60 times 11, 28 and 47" can be expressed as (60×11)+(60×28)+(60×47)=X which would mean she is 5,160 years old

I'm curious, do you believe that the song is from the perspective of Clementine's father, or her lover?

My dad sings the song for me when I was tender, had thought he was the real writer of the song and he wrote it for me.

I came here because l love the buffalo. But to serious, it would be a hard place to get comfortable, with the great numbers there were once, roaming about on the prairie. And I'm wary of cows, in a herd. One jersey is ok. 😢😢😢. Someone l love is sad. This song always comforts me. I'm not even American. Lots of sad people are sad those days., but you must simply, get get on with it. I think it's best l mashes no further comment, in case my words are misconstrued. I. Love America. I think it's the best place in the world. But I'll never leave my family.
