Cover the bottoms of your coasters with painters tape before painting. Leave the tape on until you’re done resining. Use your heat gun to soften the resin drips as you peal off the paint. Bottoms come out clean and ready for cork.

Several hours is a Huge amount of time and effort…. Doesn’t seem accurate.. coming from a professional roofer here. But I can do a roof in 10 hours and make about $20k so I guess she can keep her coasters. But looks cool.

Not really sure how to take that, but roofing and making coasters don't seem comparable to me. My times are accurate, so at least there's that. And you can have the roofs - no heights for me!

Gday Raina 😊, Kaz from Oz here. Sorry im still asking questions 4 year later 😊 Is the heat gun on high, low etc and what is the heat setting please. This is totally stunning mate, thanku so much for sharing your process and im so happy i found your channel and have subscibed. Ive just started paint pouring and the next thing is resin 😅 Ive been a wanna be artist for about 30yrs and work in ALL the mediums lol..i love em all so give everything a try..u gotta try right 🤔☺ Im 64 now and still giving nrw things a red hot go lol Thanks again hon, much appreciated watching u create. Hi Kaz, sorry for the delay! I set the heat tool to medium, maybe slightly lower depending on the ambient temperature. If it's too hot, you risk burning the resin and that's no good at all! I am so very sorry for your loss……..a year after the fact. And OMG, sorry for the loss of your furry son, that really destroyed me when I lost mine last May 2, ‘23. Very difficult stuff to handle.
