My 2018 Can Am 450 oil pump is driven by cheap plastic gears too. They stripped after 250hrs and siezed the engine. We use it on the farm in cold winter conditions. The motor can/will make condensation when used in brief 15min runs. Milky oil freezes in the oil pump needing more force to drive it. I believe this to be the failure. Users like me best install a coolant heater.

Spot on! I’ve done 90+ machines in 5 years and cosmetics are the biggest thing you can do for a machine and it’s cheap! Some people think it’s dishonest to make a machine look good but I don’t get that..

I think the folks that spray paint literally everything is on the line of dishonest, 90% of marketplace listings don't even bother to wash them though so washing it well and cleaning it up is just good business.

That’s no joke. It’s a waste of time to browse them now. I wish they would go back to Craigslist so I could delete Facebook. Marketplaces algorithm is so bad now. I have wanted to see if one of those big bear 350 or Kodiak 400 could make some big power with head work. There is a guy building warrior 350s with head work to keep up with 450s on the xc track. The 350 and 400 heads are very close if not the same as the warrior. Would be cool to pack a punch in one of those since they are still pretty light.
