Easier way keep the same team, use Barret but give the frog rings to the other two. As frogs they'll occupy both experimentals. Keep kiting the Flayer away from them while you melt his stagger bar with Bonus Shot.

They really mangled this iconic scene in Rebirth, specially the dialogue. Cloud is going apeshit while Sephiroth couldn't give less of a shit, and just rambles on about his plan.

Very bad strategy: you received a lot of damage and relied on sheer luck to win. The only good thing going on for you here is the counter. A good tip is casting sleep on one of the fiends so you can deal with the other.

I'm not sure I even had sleep at this point in the game unfortunately 😢 I've got counterstrike and Genji now though haha. Had I lost I would have definitely thrown on fire materia though!

This playthrough was normal. Punisher counter stun locks them for a bit it seems. That's how I always deal with swarms. (Wait for the 15 tonberries one later 😅)

@@stryfetc1471 They probalby will have more challenges to defeat with the same gimick.. except MP is only replenished at the end of the chapter without use of items. To me the best first experience is Dynamic Difficulty where rather progression is gated by your own progress and not the random grind... Hard Mode I feel will be a much faster run If you've done all the mini games. Slotting the right build for not having items availability through the whole playthrough will have to make you think of ways to use other means of MP conservation or negation.

@@PlayerOneCosplay I just kept dying to the dragon at first. Then I put a "ranged team" for the dragons (Barret, Yuffie, Aerith) and the ground team for the machines (Cloud, Tiffia, Red XIII) and I beat it on my first try!

Tbf the game was already over 12 years old when this video was posted, at that point it was the single most well known death scene from any game ever. It’d be like getting upset about the Thanos snap getting spoiled in 2030. Also, the only way you’d ever see this video is if you specifically searched it up, this isn’t appearing in anyone’s recommended feed

@@Jolene007 there's a lot of people who haven't played the original or were just introduced with FF7 Remake. I didn't search for this video, it was on my recommended. I get that long time fans may want to rewatch this scene but it's just a shame for potential newcomers to have one of the greatest games spoiled whilst surfing youtube. I also don't know what the Thanos snap is. I know he is the villain in marvel but I never watched the movies.

There is something WILD about rebirth. Not only did they eat the entire cake of showing both a party and a kill… but also we didn’t see the impact like in 1:47. But not only does it stop at the shock value, but also the emotion. CLOUD shows all the emotion there with his words. After being controlled so much beforehand on the Cetra Fortress, here he breaks from that and expresses his sorrow, making Sephiroth taunt him cause he wants to maintain dominance against the man that killed him. On Rebirth, the proof of any words is put on the classic mind manipulation filter and therefore we lose a big chunk of the reason this scene is so impactful. Anyways, multiverse is silly and actually not that complicated. Sure we are following a somewhat classic route, but the concept of multiverse is actually a slap to the lives of all characters, everyone might as well either die or live in the many versions.
