i would not say tourists are avoiding north wales with the 20 limits north wales still bussy with tourists even now i think it will be council shutting public toilets will chase people away ...any one like me with weak blader after prostate cancer the toilets are needed if i did not live in north wales i would not want to visit because of this farce......if councilors were stopped from there spending to much on expences they would not be in so much trouble...

The green space. The paddling was right next to the new sun centre. There was crazy golf, roller skating, foot peddle boats, that many yrs ago. There was a play ground top of john st. Where the end of the blue fence is. Refreshments stall.

I live in N Wales and driving at 20mph is depressing.

Quiter certainly sounds better to me. One day I'll get abroad again (when the Cat snuffs it), but for now, it's rainy Liverpool unfortunately. That Cove place sounds great. I Love snorkeling so it'd be a good way to spend a few hours.

Gee wizz this has changed massively, I first went to this park when I was about 13 or 14 with my family back in the 70's and we had so many cracking holidays back then. I also went to Lyons park which was next door, they had the green chalets, if I remember. We also went to the Golden Sands park as well. Meet some lovely people there mostly where from the Manchester area, Wakefield, Littleborough to name a few. It was always a brilliant two weeks holiday, the weather wasn't great but we still had great fun. I used to sing in the talent competitions, which I had the honour winning a few times. I think the last holiday I had there with my family I was about 17, after that work got in the way and then went on holiday with my pals. Nowadays people go abroad due to the sun and the cheap holidays but I love caravan holidays. The park looks spotless, is it just Caravans or do they allow Motorhomes, as I bought one a few years ago. It would be great to go back but how is Rhyl as a town? The beach is amazing and the walk into Prestatyn was always nice. Thanks for the upload and a wee trip down memory lane. Cheers Gerry

it's only when you watch a video like this that makes you realise how much you take where you live for granted and how picturesque the area really is. And since the beach and prom redevelopment, it has really become busy, summer 2024 the beach was busy all the time during the school holidays.

stayed at sandy cove many ms ago.used to ove standing on the railway brige watching the trains pass underneath. steam in those days
