Tried them out under the kitchen exhaust, still felt like dying from the toxic fumes and the whole appartment smelled like I burnt it down. Still gonna give them a second try, I just bought them to fix my broken clothes horse. As far as I can tell it works by igniting a certain compound within the material that brings the aluminium particles up on temperature (exergonic reaction). But maybe it needs more time to cool down than you gave it idk.

Sand/buff/clear takes longer but works 110%. I think they look better than new if you take your time.

It looks alot more red or mahogany-like both when you are playing it, and in the official pictures. But, when you show close ups, it looks more like a typical walnut stain. Does the color tend to look different it different lighting? I ask because I am looking for a cheaper ES-335-type guitar that has a true walnut stain.
