I liked the video because you 100% it and gave your opinion. However, I'm conflicted. The game looks lame and Skillup confirmed my beliefs. Hard when two of your favorite reviewers see things differently. Maybe ACG will give me a tiebreaker.

The first thing I did when playing the demo was explore the boundaries of the terrain, I was blown away

To talk about your mana problem... If you equip the MC with a Mage Archetype, they regain MP every time they kill an enemy on the overworld. I also get your gripes about the Press turn system, but it definitely has its hard core fans, myself included. Overall, I'm sad you bounced off the game. It happens to everyone.

It’s just boring unfortunately. Very repetitive gameplay, sketchy mechanics, generic story. 6 or 7 of 10 is about right.
