The trick to beating this thing? RNG (placement of parts), i-frame, utilization of Crown's shield during lasers on your highest atk unit or Crown (if she's taunting + invincibility), and mental strength. You can take an even giga maldy route. Do what I did except completely i-framing all the QTE big rocks. :) Additional Info is in the video description (and maybe follow my socials while you're at it). I didn't really fully min max my damage here since I know I wouldn't get to Stage 9 with my current OL rolls. To min max, don't let Alice burst during 2nd phase QTE shield. Stall the tentacles, and go for core shots until the Kraken is about to swipe one shot. Turn off sync cursor if going all in on core shots. I had all the firepower in the world and i couldn't figure out phase 2... one (1) untouched/uninvested Sakura did the job lol my team comp is synchro 261 crown (3 star, 10/10/10) sakura 1/1/1 😂😂😂😂 BS Scarlet (core+1, 10/7/10) Alice (core+2, 10/4/10) Red Hood (3 star 10/10/10) all my units have OL t9 and lvl 7 bastion or wingman except Sakura shes armorless and not even in synchro 😂😂 its honestly super goofy how well it works / how i somehow haven't gotten it down earlier

You guys have no idea what I went through to clear this. 🥲 THIS WAS PEAK MIN MAXING DAMAGE ON MY END. I-FRAME IS REALLY IMPORTANT FOR THIS BOSS + DPS UPTIME. Please find resources in order to know how to do it. If you can afford to tank some damage, use on a nikke instead of covering right off the bat from projectiles, let your other nikkes auto, and then cover your other nikkes if they're about to die from projectiles.

I don't get how you're eliminating that first set of adds with the shield. Is Doro's skill 2 killing them? It looks like most of them don't take very much damage then they suddenly die. Is it also Privaty's burst that kills the following set of adds?

Is it possible to sub Alice or Scarlet for Red Hood? EDIT: cleared her Ch. 21 normal boss fight using your strategy at around 121k CP, but with Scarlet instead of Red Hood. It took a lot of trial, error and spam pausing the game during the elite Rapture spawn to monitor Crown's Royal Attire stacks so that the invulnerability proc'ed at just the right moment, but once the entire squad was able to get through that part unscathed I focused the side ports down until Mother Whale died. I have no idea how the team survived the sideways laser attack though. Thanks!

Hi you're my biggest fan

The trick to beating this boss with this comp is to monitor Crown's skill 2 stack. When the elite mob spawns, you must manual Crown's shots, and check Crown's stack. Time your Crown shots so it pre-lines up with the elites that's about to attack you. Your skill 2 stack should be around 16-19 by the time the elites spawn. Your goal is to hit 20 stacks to proc taunt and invincibility. Hope this helps. Unrelated but I've been trying to be more active on all my socials (in my YT description).
