Yeah, it was really lovely down South in South Devon and met a couple of people that my Dad and I know at the Dartmouth Steam Railway and able to see some great trains down in South Devon too. Also got great weather down in South Devon for most of the two weeks, apart from a couple of rainy and cloudy spells, but it was worth it. 😄

@@stewartatkinson4179 Thank you so much. Yeah, it's been busy in the 5 it's mainly doing the engineering works at Ardgay for the major revamp / upgrade works at the station and the sidings. In general freight, there hasn't been any freight going up for a while (apart from the flask train, and that hasn't been up for a long while since March this year). 🙂 There were a few drivers that I have seen before since I been down there, and a few are new drivers or have never been up on the Far North Line for a while or at all. So it was an eventful day, it was for sure. 😄

Thank you so much. 😄 There are plenty of opportunities to see 158719 in it's Levenmouth Rail Link livery. Compare to over trains like a rare loco or a charter train coming up into the Highlands. 😊

Thank you so much. Yes it's back for the 2024 season and I seen the Royal Scotsman since I was 10 Years old in 2009, when the Royal Scotsman use to stable at Invergordon railway station for an hour and a half and operated by West Coast Railways. 😄

I remember when it was operated by West Coast Railways when they used class 37s & 47s.

@@ScotRail380001 I remember the first class 47 that I had seen on the Royal Scotsman back when I first seen the Royal Scotsman in 2009 was 47787 (Windsor Castle), first class 57 on the Royal Scotsman was 57601 (Sheila) in the old West Coast Livery in 2010 that was and 37685 (Loch Arkaig) & 37516 (Loch Laiden) for West Coast Railways 37's for the Royal Scotsman in 2014. So it's long back and a few loco's are not running engines anymore compare to a decade back or two.

Some people live in those houses beside or near the station just got use to hear them in the past especially if they know who it is at the station on that day. Sometimes in the past, it would be a long one indeed or the so many blasts from the horn lol 🤣

No problem Leon. There maybe a class 37 we might see up North again soon. Compare to other loco's that we like to see differently from the common loco's up North is going to be extremely rare now than we would of the class 37's. So you never know really what may come up your way. 🙂
