People look at me strangely when I suggest that a work of fiction has had one of the greatest impacts on my walk with God. I too have handed Wisdom Hunter out to many, many people.

I love these guys. WOW!! Ben I don't think I've ever seen you without your hat. I love Mike Rogers. The 1st time I saw him, he was playing drums for Jimmy's Hits and Hymns. I love his facial expressions and energy

Thank you Russ and Tori and Andy. Watching this is like looking into a mirror. I had a terrible relationship with my father which still hangs around today even though I am 77. He never showed any empathy towards me,, he never praised me in either academics and sport.. When I was 17 I went to join the Pentecostal ministry but he would not sign the papers until I was 21. This relationship has traumatised me all my life until I went to a Psychologist and she peeled the layers off my hurt. I am a Vietnam Veteran who was diagnosed with PTSD in 1991 and this also hurts . But you know what? I have a wife who has supported me for 56 years and two wonderful sons and their family. I was an alcoholic for many years but I have been free of that addiction for over 20 years. This man like Russ said I hated but I loved him was not a great influence in my life. But my mother. One of God's angels.

It's going to be a hard thing to end the cruises. Though I've never been on one I can see ahead and it's going to be a tear jerker. My sister will be on it and will fill me in.

Love Russ so much and have followed his career for many years. Great voice and puts so much passion into his singing. I saw him back in 2003 with The Gaiither Vocal Band in Sydney when the Gaithers toured Australia in that year at the Sydney Opera House. Great show but Russ was the winner to me.

Having almost finished listen to all Peter Grainger books written so far (currently my favorite writer), I decided to see if there were any interviews with him and was surprised to find that there is just one, this one. Thanks so much for this! 🙏

I cannot believe I never looked up or asked that question before this, tho I always wondered why some people looked phony while talking/smiling. Thanks. If you are 'really' happy being around the people you are conversing with, you can't help but smile.

I’m one of those who read the DC Smith books multiple times and loved every minute of it. I also love the narrator’s voice on the books. I am so happy that a new DC Smith book is coming out in a month: The Late Lord Thorpe. Can’t wait!

19:56 I think Ben sings Gentle On My Mind so well because he is honoring the style of John Hartford, the composer. I also love how the banjo (or banjo sounding instrument?) and fiddle come in too, which are the two instruments John featured when performing the song live 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Peter Grainger is brilliant: amusing, lively, and complicated in the best of ways. In particular he has a genius for creating and developing characters. I've read all the DC Smith and Kings Landing books and loved every one. Thanks for a great interview with an outstanding writer.
