My story, my relation to a Springsteen song. I must tell my story; I know most of you reading this have been dedicated fans for many years. But this is my story. First, we must turn back time to the fall of 2001 where my story begins, and what turns out to be “my Springsteen song”. During that time, I lived in the city of Falun and one night I drove down to the town of Helsingborg for Father’s Day. That’s the 11 of November in Sweden. I had a scrappy car, but it held together the whole night. The car was bad, But the stereo I guess 3 or 4 times more worth than the car. One CD and one song were played over and over that night-Thunder Road. I came to Helsingborg around 06:30 in the morning. We celebrated Dad. It was the last Fathers day Dad was alive. Dad passed away in the late spring of 2002. Dad was sick for many years with a neurologic disease, now 22 years later I have the same disease. Today I’m in a wheelchair. And I know tomorrow will be very difficult for my family and me. But back to that night in 2001, I had Thunder Road on repeat the whole night. My relation to that song is special. The first time I saw Springsteen on stage was in Gothenburg in 2012. And when Thunder Road was played, I couldn’t help myself crying. I guess many of you reading this have that special song that means so much to you. It’s like the music and lyrics hit the heart and soul it turns back time. One dream that I guess I share with many of you. Meet Bruce Springsteen in person and try to explain what his music has meant to you. That’s my story and today I have all the albums and many of the books. I’m only playing Springsteen. And almost every time I hear Thunder Road, I cry a little.

When the audience sings his songs has to be touching because they're still listening and someone is still playing for the younger generation. ❤

Hearing that legendary opening harmonica and singing “show a little faith” along with over 20,000+ people is something that everyone deserves to experience at least once in their lifetime. I’m 19 years old, have loved Bruce my whole life, and was fortunate enough to sing it right face to face with the man himself when I saw E street live a few months ago. It was my very first Bruce show and it will always be one of my greatest memories for the rest of my life

My favourite Bruce Song.I was there when that night John Fogarty refused to leave the stage until Bruce sang Rocking All Over The World with him. Bruce performed for 3 hours in the pouring rain. At the End of the night, he brought out Sir Paul McCartney. It was the gig of the Summer in 2012.

In my opinion this is the best song ever written. Sometimes I’ll blast this in my car alone and by the end I’m in tears. There is no other artist that hits me the way Bruce does and it’s not even close. He is truly one of the most special performers and songwriters in history
