For me in a wildcard next GW Gordon has to go, completely underperformed for his price. Eze also now a challenge to keep whilst not being guaranteed pens

My plan is to wildcard in GW6 due to the fixture swings, their are several issues with my team right now, and my mid prived midfielders are all being outscored by lower priced options, when are you planning to wildcard?

Looks like the Darwin to Havertz move paid off early so AI is doing its job properly. Trips is now very interesting with Toon fans wanting him back in the team, so wait and see right there. Think Nkunku's league days are numbered and he will be a cup player now, so he should be gone ASAP!

Thanks, agree with Havertz would really like him in my team, even for the next two tougher fixtures, Nkunku is way to muuch of a minutes risk, but wait for a free transfer to move him on, Trippier is an interesting case will see what happens their after the international break.

The double Villa attack against a team they beat twice last year wouldn't be too crazy, however that really does pit almost half your team against each other. The Mateta comments are sound, i would also not be 100% he will take pens off Eze either.

This felt like the best option at the 7.5m range, all the others feel rsiky for mins, Jackson, Darwin, Toney - Interesting shout on the pens, I have both so shouldl be covered either way

Had Solanke and binned him off. Had enough funds to get Watkins in which i was going to do in GW3 anyway for the long term regardless of his fixture this week

I had watkins in my pre season team until Solanke moved to Spurs, looked like a bargain and freed up valuable funds, but that didnt work our, in hindsight should have waited a couple of games. Watkins fixtures after Arsenal look tasty

What do I do with the young stud Garnacho? He looks good when he is on the field but isnt getting enough mins, do you think his mins will improve? I know that historically there has been a strong correlation between attractiveness and FP points (eg Haaland, Ronaldo, Ageuro etc...) so i want to hold on to him but are there any great options to replace him this week for 6.5?

Garnacho is a hold, he has been reported putting in extra training this week, and xMins is over 60, if I had him I would keep him for at least another week before making any decision.

Good to see the unfavourable shirt has disappeared from the videos, certainly makes for easier watching. Be interesting to watch the Arsenal defence in the next few weeks, with no attcking threat from them, if they lose the clean sheets it is a big hit to take. Salah C a great choice and highlighting that once again this year the captain choice is absolutely key to success. Newcastle assets are going to fly this year for me, very nicely priced and they looked very good even after the red card. Interested to see your potential transfer plans in the upcoming week.

Great shout on the Arsenal defence, if they concede it is a big loss but balanced if they get one it is a big gain, also Gabriel and Saliba are a threat from corners so small goal threat but next to no expected assists. Captains are a big shout and I don’t have Haaland this week as the standout so fingers crossed on Salah vs Brentford for me. With regards to Newcastle it’s a shame about the red card as the result could have been much more in my opinion excited to see what they can do this year as some good price points I. Their team

Great first GW lineup even without Haaland. Choosing the right captain last season was absolutely crucial to a successful season, it would appear that this year will be the same. Newcastle assets are going to be strong and certainly look to be great value.

Captains choices are always difficult but having Haaland or Salah usually ensures you get some return, I wish I was braver with captains choice and will look at this more this season

Yes, based on pre season that was the case especially with Estupinan out injured, but before the GW1 deadline Birghton bought another player for that position, which led to him being loaned out this season.

I’ve ended up with 3 spurs defenders and vicario as well in a draft league I’m in….based on the weekend performance do you think I should hold steady? I know the foxs have a strong attack so I’m thinking that goal conceded is a minor blip but just keen for another opinion.

As an Arsenal fan I may be very biased here but Tottenhams recent defence record is not great to have 4 in a draft team outside of Porro I would be looking to move a couple on if you can get any takers

What's your advice for Quansah owners? Subbed after 45 mins and had some pretty damning comments from Arne Slot, so his minutes look uncertain. I could hold and rotate him for Konsa this gameweek, but Arsenal at home isn't the best fixture for him. Transferring out a 4.5m defender this early on isn't ideal either, although I think since I have Quansah and Barco I don't have much choice.

The Quansah quandary! What would I do? I personally would keep him for the Brentford game as it was a tactical decision not a performance issue or injury, if you don’t have cover and there is a potential price drop I would move on straight away as otherwise you can only afford a 4.0. Defender and the options there are significantly less value - potential 4.5m replacement is Robertson from Fulham - some attacking threat and good fixtures for the next 5 games

You mentioned bias and having Saliba there is definitely biased. Arsenal's opening 5 fixtures do not scream clean sheets to me. Areola is a risky rotation keeper, West Ham are changing 3 of their back 4 and likely the last signing will be the week before the season, plus they always start the season very badly. @@afrothe1 There will be good options from Liverpool under Arne Slot - I just dont know who they will be as he hasnt found his best team yet, early preseason form is suggesting Szlobozai, but right now I am not convinced
