I was just at DW and the security guard told me a tip that its a little scary but it worked for all 3 parks. He told me hold ur camera and lens(s) infront of you as you go thru the metal detectors and you wont get checked and it worked. Now this is hard depending on what glass you bring to the mark i did it with a r6mkii and 24-105 and 50mm. And never got stopped again at the gates.

I am someone who is a fitness nut and am very strong so I will bring my mirrorless with some bigger lenses (think f/1.4 primes or 70-200 2.8's). I don't want pictures that won't age well and using a high end full frame 61 megapixel A7R4 will future proof any photos so if I want to print them out down the road I know they will be just fine no matter what size print I want.

@alismagicmoments Did you hear a lot of elevator noise in this room? Or noise above with the laundry? I have those same two rooms booked for our upcoming cruise!

Not at all! The only noise we would hear was the kids running around 😂 We were worried about the same thing but it seems like there is some kind of buffer between the elevators and the room so you don’t hear the mechanical sounds at all! Also congratulations on your cruise! I hope you have the best time 😊

We haven’t been to OKW yet, but the rooms look super nice! We’ll be staying in our first 2-bedroom at AKL in May! We can’t wait! Also, we are definitely an unpack family! 😂

I second that the robes are the BEST purchase on the ship! Was just wearing mine this morning! We've had ours for over a year and we are still obsessed! SO cozy- well worth the money in our opinion!

Yes! It was the same room, the layout was just flipped. And they had the couch converted into a bed since they had 3 people in their room.

Did the driver know where the Disney terminal was? We went on the Dream at the end of last November out of Ft. Lauderdale. Our Uber driver to the port, also a nice guy, kept saying no English to us. He first took us to the Princess terminal. We began to pay attention and found the Disney terminal. If it's the same driver, you can thank us for breaking him in. If not, maybe it's not a Small World After all? Anyway I'm sure your family had a great time. How come we didn't get any caramels?

DVC makes more financial sense on the resale market. You should also never use your DVC points on a cruise as the value is terrible. Instead, rent the points out and use the cash to book.

My favorite part of using packing cubes is how easy it is to move them into hotel room drawers! That way, I have the ease of using drawers (and not lugging out my suitcase for every little thing), without having to actually unpack anything. 😅

I can totally relate! We've only done inside staterooms on Disney and I feel like they're totally doable, even with kids! We have another set of Disney Cruise vlogs coming in the next few weeks from the Disney Dream. We do another inside stateroom tour, this one is your more traditional style but it has a connecting room if you're interested in seeing another one!

Yes this was one of the sideways inside staterooms! I believe it was 6515 on the Disney Magic, but you can see them on the deck plans if you go to the DCL website. Personally, we loved it! But I know its not for everyone 😊

You nailed it right on the head , it’s a question of how much you want to lug around. A lot of times I love my dslr but I’ve lately been leaning on my iPhone and have been loving the results. Now I just do iPhone and monopod to record shows and parades.
