Not very good stock to make a blade from. It's not strong enough. A chainsaw bar isn't made for that

Xxxxxxx I would advise not to do this. This is a big fail. Sorry folks. A chain saw bar is 2 pieces and to forge two pieces of metal together... Okay there's air between the space any blacksmith would use flux and Hammer weld the 2 to start..... Enough said. Cut 3/4 of an inch of the bottom of the blade!!!
