Did you happen to notice that God impregnated Mary and she gave birth to a human son?

@@MichaelTheophilus906 Luke says she conceives by the Holy Spirit. It is a miracle. And the church has recognized from early that Jesus was both god and man.

@@chasereplogle No. Jesus was never a God. That is a lie of the catholic church 381 A.D. Pagan catholic priests made God a trinity and Jesus one of the three gods. You refuse to believe the truth. Shame on you!

Question, I think the book of Luke is a great book to focus on. However, I’m curious the reason you recommend Luke?
@chasereplogle
@chasereplogle 9 сағат бұрын
@OtomaEdje, I think there are lots of good places to start but Luke is the longest and most researched of the gospels. It includes many historical details. If you just wanted to read, maybe John or Mark would be better, but for a serious study there is so much to learn from Luke. Luke is also an excellent writer and is sets you up well to continue reading into Acts which Luke also wrote. Hope that's helpful. You might also check out my videos on the first chapter of John. I cover a lot of this in more detail there. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m33FiqWMhrt5bLM

Thank you for these videos, they are very helpful. Forgive me if you have addressed these previously, if so maybe you can point me in the right direction. I use the 'prioritize books' feature you mentioned but I see that for me, it has grown way too long. Is there an easy way to 'clean' that list up? How would you recommend best utilizing that feature?
@chasereplogle
@chasereplogle Күн бұрын
I think you're right that when the prioritize list gets too long it can get confusing. Once you have the list of prioritized books open, you can right click on them and remove them from the prioritized list. I've got about 25 books in my prioritized list. I think Bibles and lexicons are probably the most important to get prioritized. Hope that helps.

In other words, "Christianized AI", hyper-aligned with Christian dogma. Yeah, best of luck with that. I have faith that Christians will be watching Lucifer (the Light-Bringer) laughing last, when it comes to AI. AI is the tool that will ultimately destroy the Jesus-cult. There is no "Christian AI". There is only the "Great Oracle of Lucifer" which will emerge into being as AI evolves. Fools.

That’s because you’re insecure, you have to have a womb. Women are the authority. Women are the life Jesus could not have completed his mission, the apocalypse is coming, that means it’s a real revelation. It’s the women that belong in the church as they have the link, insecure men with a dentist that are commanding. Mother nature is coming back, and she’s not happy, she is, I am, can be almost demonic. You could call us, Satan. Your favorite scapegoat to avoid taking personal responsibility for your shortcomings.

What do you make of the counter-argument that “Theophilus” (Greek literally means “lover of God”) is not a real person? It’s a generic label. This was a critique I encountered in a secular university context. Do you think this argument has substance? Why or why not?
@chasereplogle
@chasereplogle Ай бұрын
Will, thanks for the question. I do think it's possible that Luke is addressing his work to any follower of God and using Theophilus as a kind of persona for the reader. But the fact he adds the title "most excellent" seems to indicate a person in a real position. It's a title. Josephus uses the same phrase in the opening of his book Against Apion. Josephus writes, "I suppose that, by my books of the Antiquities of the Jews, most excellent Epaphroditus, I have made it evident to those who peruse them, that our Jewish nation is of very great antiquity..." Luke may have liked that his patron's real name also worked generally for other readers. It could be both. I have another study video that actually goes into this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/m33FiqWMhrt5bLM
